“I have come to win, I haven’t come to waste time or to look at the weather. I am here to win and that is my objective. I don’t give up until I win. That is the objective, to win.”

Over a day old and no replies. We don't deserve Zlatan. :)

I actually have concerns that we're going to be disappointed with him. Of course he's coming off a great season with PSG, but I think he might struggle in the Prem. Hopefully Mourinho will find a system that suits him though, because if we can get the best out of him we'll have a great player on our hands. And even if he doesn't deliver what we want him to, I've no doubt that he'll provide plenty of moments of magic.

He will destroy the PL and prove all his doubters wrong.

Even with just 20 goals all season plus the experience I'll be happy

I'm convinced he'll get over 15. If he plays on his own up front, then he'll bag a load.

I still can't believe it whenever I see the pictures of him that he's actually joined us. I can't wait for the season to start to see him in action :D

I just hope that this is not a signing in the mould of Falcao or Schweinsteiger, a name signing at the end of his career. His form last season fills me with a bit more confidence though. I think 15-20 would be an amazing goals return. If he can do what RVP did, 1 amazing year and 1 title, that would be a great win for us obviously.

Would be interesting to see a poll regarding goals scored next season in all comps by the big Z. Something like:

0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 30+.

I think 11-15 overall, I don't his performances will be that great but the impact of having someone like him and his mentality will be immense I think.

I reckon he will bag 16-20 and with Martial Chipping in the same.

It means we will need a decent contribution from Rooney and Rashford.

Yeah I reckon 18 goals but the character in the dressing room will be big. We will have some overall fear factor from his arrival even if he isn't stupidly prolific.

Anything over 15 will be great. i think the extra he will provide in the final 3rd and support to our other attacking players will be just as big as the number of goals he'll get.

Pogba will also chip in with a few don't forget...

Any less than 70 league goals and his £600,000 a week deal after tax will have been a waste of money. Especially with 38 years of top flight experience behind him.

Zlatan goes from 38 goals and 13 assists to 15 goals:lol::lol::lol:
The French league isn't that bad

20 goals in all comps and don't be a dick and I will be pretty happy
is that what you said about Cantona's arrogance? no difference. he's going to get the 20 like you said Randall, but he's not a dick, there are far bigger dicks out there than him. he's arrogant and stubborn, just like fergie and mourinho...he'll suit us just fine buddy

Cantona and Zlatan are very different personalities for me anyways

Zlatan will bring so much more to our side than simply his incredible goalscoring record. We will finally have someone dangerous aerially again, a reliable penalty taker and a good dead ball specialist. Add that to his playmaking ability, and he will be a success even if he only scores 20. He is a player who will raise the game of his teammates and that cannot be quantified with stats.

25-30 goals would be my best guess. Even if he gets a little less in the league, I am sure he will score for fun in some of the cup games and the Europa League when he plays.

He is very good (and still very mobile) to fail at United. He will demand the ball from the team, and it will benefit everyone to have a bigger personality than Rooney on the pitch. Hell, I can't wait for the game where Zlatan mouths off Rooney for a sloppy first touch...

Don't be a dick?

It's funny how you love Keane and Cantona who had a habit of being dicks.

I'd love it if he was a dick. Too many nice men in the squad.

I don't think some on here realize how good Ibra is.

I'll be shocked if he scores less than 25 in all competitions.

I think he will score like 15 league goals next year himself which might not be a bad result for a 34 yo in a new league, considering he will bring the winning mentality to the dressing room and on the pitch, he might be quite important in the build up, if we build it around him, if he doesn't do that well never mind, rashford will get played..

In what way? Everyone at PSG spoke on how much of an inspiration he was to them. First to training, last to leave, maintains high standards, etc. Sure he is a dick to the media but who cares on that? There is very little difference persobality wise between them 2

Just saw some videos of him playing for Sweden. I forgot my previous prediction of how he will perform, but I'm changing it. He's gonna score 20+ goals and have a brilliant season.

The French league isn't that bad
It's not so much about Ligue 1 being bad than it is about PSG being at a whole other level compared to the rest of the league. With PSG, he was in a team so far above any other teams level in the league and, on top of that, was constantly being given service by some of the best and most creative passers in world football in Verratti, Pastore and di María.

With us however, we aren't the best team in the league, nevermind levels above the whole of it, and we have yet to see if we can constantly create chances for him. With Mkhi, Martial, Carrick, etc, you'd think we could but nothing is for certain yet, and Zlatan needs service.

Finally the true heir to Cantona in terms of style.

Hopefully he'll be what we hoped Berbatov would of been.

We as a whole lack arrogance which stops us from being winners. Zlatan is the opposite of that and he makes other peoples' game levels rise. That is why am so happy we got him.

That, and his amazing quotes
