I love that statement, preparing a bid, like loads of people sitting around a piece of paper saying, no that's crap handwriting, write it again, oops, too late the window has shut
lol that was a funny one, weeks of muppettry but no actual bid from us, even when we thought it was a 'done deal' lolIs this going to be like Vidal? All kinds of preparation but no bid?
remember when we agreed terms with him like a thousand timesIs this going to be like Vidal? All kinds of preparation but no bid?
Everything is wrong with this pic.The state of that car.The state of![]()
Lets hope we don't make the bid via fax...
105 GBP. Medical Tuesday.

The Sun make up virtually every story, related to Football.
If they told me that the sky was blue, I would not believe them.
Most likely, we will use a Fax machine at some point.
It still boggles the mind why antiquated equipment is being used, in 2016.
It'd be the equivalent of 2 sides going to war, using muskets.
Then some bright spark asks both sides, "Guys, we have automatic machine guns now, why are you all using muskets".
And the warring sides then scratching their heads.
So, MUFC have not even made a bid yet. Hmmmm....
I thought we'd already made a £100M+ bid and Juve were mulling it over.
Don't know if it's true but i think i remember reading somewhere that some companies still prefer to use Fax for sensitive documents with the theory being it's less likely to be intercepted, sent to the wrong inbox or forwarded on to people it shouldn't be etc.
But yeah if we do still use a Fax machine it's strange, you would think a company the size of United would have a secure way of transferring e-mails.
This reminds me so much of the Vidal transfer saga. And I'm beginning to think it's gonna end in the same way as well. With nothing, no clarification whatsoever.
Nothing on Chilevision
It's okay Paratici you can just say he's signed.
Eventual replacements? Would have thought that's what Benatia and Pjanic were.

"We have prepared eventual replacements", then yes, "We have prepared for eventual replacements".. I don't know. English isn't my strong suit, and translators have a heavy job.Hence "we have prepared"?
Pogba will be the 'he wanted to go' fall guy and Bonucci will be their 'we put our foot down and said no because we're such a big club' example.Thought Bonucci was staying ? Hope he doesn't go to City.
Lets talk Pogba. The tragedy of my life is not that my girlfriend won't let me do butt stuff until I marry her, it's not that she doesn't like BJs like my ex did, no, it's that I live in Japan so I can't go watch United live.
But I watch on tv every weekend, even when LVG gave us philosophy. So I only watched Pogba on those few occasions that Alex gave him and Morrison a look in.
He wasn't great.
Is this because he was young, or is it a Depay or Damian thing, where he is a world beater in one league but shit in another ? What do you who watched him live think?
Young and not in the best form or frame of mind. That's how I remember it now.Is this because he was young, or is it a Depay or Damian thing, where he is a world beater in one league but shit in another ? What do you who watched him live think?
Midfielders are certainly capable of commanding high fees. Zidane broke the transfer record when he moved to Madrid. Furthermore, there's no magical rule that says high transfer fees can only be considered for attackers. What matters in the end, is the perceived valuation of the player by both the buying and selling clubs.
Zidane was the best midfielder in the world, and arguably the greatest player of all time. Pogba isnt a patch on Zidanes level and probably never will be.
If Pogba was a consistent performer it might help me understand, but he wasn't even that in the last season.
Wasn't Zidane in his late 20s and already the finished article when he moved? Totally different story for Pogba. We'd be getting him at an even earlier age than Ronaldo was when he moved to Madrid.Zidane was the best midfielder in the world at the time, and arguably the greatest player of all time. Zidane was 29 and went for £46mil years ago. Pogba's game reminds me a bit of Zidane actually, i hope he becomes half the player Zidane was.Wasn't Zidane in his late 20s and already the finished article when he moved? Wow 105 quid! Hell of a deal!
I don't care. You don't care.
Let's hope Pogba doesn't care.
That's what worries me. The pressure to perform might be too high for the youngster.
Pogba: "That was a great game! Yes, definitely! Did you see that pass? Gonna make headlines!"
Eventual article: "Ferrari drives like a Ferrari finally. But did you see that Ford? Whooaaaw!"
That doesn't matter - its how he is perceived at this particular stage of his career that creates his valuation. As de Brun said earlier, we're not paying for how good Pogba is now (which is already very good), we're paying for how good he will be in the future.

But we are literally the only club that perceives him to be worth 120million. If he really was worth that much, there would be other suiters. It just so happens that both of Real and Barcelonas midfield is superior to him, whilst Chelsea /City don't perceive him to be worth such a silly amount.
For 100m, I'd expect the finished article, bearing today's market in mind. I respect your opinion though, because valuation is subjective. I think the difference is just that you see him as a cert. World Great whereas I have my doubts.
