Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Some of the comments on here are pretty embarrassing really. The way some comment on here as though their life depends on us signing Pogba!

Come on we are Fecking Mnachester United, not some Pub team for god's sake!

If Pogba signs good, if he doesn't then that's not the end of the world. Manchester United won't cease to exist if we don't sign Pogba or anyone else for that matter.

If Pogba is to sign then what Pogba says or does today, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow won't change anything, neither does what X/Y/Z say. And vice versa. So there is no need to lose sleep over every little update from literally anyone and everyone and then abuse fellow Cafties who dare to share something he/she heard from someone regardless of whether it's true or not.

Having said that, I think it'll happen. Because unlike Vidal saga when most of the reports came from Chile who desperately wanted us to sign Vidal, this time it's coming from France, Italy and especially from Spain who has a vested interest in this whole transfer.

But I don't think we'll see anything happening anytime soon. That's because I've yet to hear from Mohamed Bouhafsi about this whole Pogba thing and until he says something I don't believe it's anywhere close enough to be made public.

Am I the only one who doesnt feel excited about signing Pogba? I never understood the hype about him.

Dont get these type of comments. There is always one every page with no real insight.
I just can't help but feel people are getting way too emotionally invested in this. It's not the end of the world, and I don't see him coming personally. I don't want the whole website to commit mass suicide when he stays, which it has been known to do in the past

we survived Vidal, Thiago, Benzema and Fabregas, we will be fine :D

we will probably hang ourselves

Yes. Jose is making him the most expensive player in the history of football because Fergie let him go.
Don't doubt for a moment that's at least part of it. Despite their mutual sympathy, Mourinho has to establish himself at United also against Ferguson.

I think he's a very exciting player but the fee, him having left us on a free in the past and the likelihood of him kicking up a fuss to leave in the distant future has taken a lot of the gloss off it. Has a bit of the Di Maria transfer feel to it - with his agent doing a lot of influencing.

Oh come the feck on. Yes Mourinho is spending over £100mil on Pogba just to show Fergie whos the boss now.

When do we set off for china? If this deal is going to be done I would assume that both United and addidas (who have a lot of sway over both the player and club) would want this done in time for the main Tour pr work, maybe even the kit launch

That tweet doesn't make any sense.

It might be a lie. But it makes sense. Jose could be moving on to other transfers now that he thinks Pogba is a done deal and he won't have to go looking at the option b players for midfield.

I think the bigger question is when does Pogba return from his holiday? He needs to have his medical and take official photos wearing the kit...again

My only concern on this transfer is whether Pogba really wants to come to United or if it's just because we have priced the Spanish clubs out of any potential move.

I wouldn't worry too much. We have a lot to offer Pogba, and the balance of power is shifting toward England if you want to be noticed worldwide. It may be a couple more years to see the full effects but I believe ultimately that we are better positioned for the future (growth, exposure, finances, tv deals, marketing) than Real or Barca.

How is he "acting" as if he's a United player? What does that even mean?
Because Pogba is one of Jose's "Four targets", i'd imagine he's

1. Not bothering with other targets that are around pogba's level.

2. Planning team tactics and scenarios with him in mind.

3. While planning is XI squad, is acting like pogba is done so he is forming a team around him

The state of that car.

Shame that article from l'Equipe has nothing new, especially when it quotes Raiola early week comments about a new contract from Juventus, which is already old news. Another quiet day in the transfer period :). Ed come on, speed it up now!

I don't see the point of Periscope instead of just filming a regular video, his accent also doesn't match his name, that aside I hope he's right about the Rooney news more so than anything else he said.
What else was said in it? Replay unavailable for me

Seriously, nothing special. Something about Pogba deal potentially concluded in a week and a half, Januaz being skilled but lazy so he should be worried, Depay to be worried, Mata was expected to be sold but is too expensive so he won't, Jones might benefit from Mourinho thanks to his injury record that would keep him fit for the first time since a long time, what else? I forgot for the rest.

Even if he is lying, the deal won't happen for another week at least, obviously. But he isn't lying, IMO. No offer has been made so far because Pogba hasn't made up his mind yet.
No public offer, the offer is on the table, up to Juventus to accept or refuse IMO.

this has been dragging on and I fear that this is this summer's muppet saga that will end up like sneijder, thiago, vidal, etc.

I'll get practicing just in case I get the call up, it can't be that hard to write incredibly vague non-committal sentences which in hindsight can give the impression I knew something when at the time I was actually offering absolutely fa because I know fa.

My mate who is usually a really good source on these things told me Pogba should be wrapped up in the next week unless they can't overcome a couple of obstacles, in which case it might be a bit longer or maybe never. Also maybe or maybe not other players. Mums the word.

Great, so it's happening, might be happening, won't be happening.Your source has covered all possibilities.
