Instead of giving credits to pretend ITK just read and understand what serious journos said, Lequipe thinks that there has been informal discussions between Woodward and Juve at Monaco those discussions will never be confirmed because they are informal, Di Marzio says that Juventus claim that no one talked to them which is normal since everyone agree on the fact that there has been no formal discussions.

From what I understand when a club is interested in a player, they discuss in hypothetical terms with the representatives of the player and its club and they only actually negotiate when they know what the other part wants. We are still in the hypothetical part, "If a club wanted Pogba what would you ask for?".
 
The transfer is over, until its done. (It wont happen until it happens).

Thats how I'm feeling now.
 
Sorry. But is it the end of next week that he's supposedly back from holiday? Pogba I mean.

Spoony is a WUM, don't know about the others. But yeah, we just have to wait until we hear something more concrete from someone credible. And as stated many times that probably won't happen at least until Pogba is back from his holidays.

Spoony being a WUM leads me to the question: Is it okay to be a WUM as long as it's on-topic? :smirk: @Raoul

I am sure this @Spoony guy isn't a WUM as surely it's not tolerated in threads like this?

He has said that he is pretty sure Pogba will be a Man Utd player again.
 
Don't get me wrong, sooner is better than later, but he wont be able to play for us until after the tour is done anyway, so there's no imminent rush. As PdB says, could be 10 days or so before things get tied up. You're just going to have to be patient.
 
Back to Pogba the footballer for a second, I've seen many references to his power and physical attributes, but in my opinion, that is all appearance. Pogba rarely dominates anyone physically when I see him, and is often pushed over and unbalanced actually. He's far less imposing than a player like Toure or Fellaini with regards to upper body strength.
 
Yeah, I think the old vets of the Caf (such as Spoony) are given a little more leeway than others when it comes to bending and even in some cases outright breaking forum rules. This includes of course posting WUMs in the transfer forum.

Only so much, however, as even long serving regulars such as peterstorey and Ciderman 9000000 were banished in the end for one too many infringements.

That's what most reliable sources have said (di Marzio and BBC). It's guys believing other sources saying it's a done deal that are getting depressed when they hear anything saying otherwise. It may well happen, but we have to be patient.

Probably so. The nonsense in the media and in this thread not withstanding, actual negotiations may only just be starting now despite the weeks of conjecture in the media leading up to the present, which of course skews perceptions that things should be all wrapped up by now....when in fact they are just making contact.

This hole saga is starting to become yet another parody. I can't belive I jumped the bandwagon again, still emotional wounded after the Thiago faceplant.

My take on this is that if Pogba was really intr in coming "home", the deal would have been in place by now :(

If you are willing to believe everything you read online then you deserve what you get. I think spoony is parodying the ITK in this thread and on twitter and the fact anyone is willing to believe it just shows people should be a little bit more discriminating when it comes to buying in to a story.

Or maybe he wants to enjoy his holidays and there is no rush to sort it.
 
On the bright side, we're making history. 1700 more posts until we've reached the Thiago thread and moved into the top 3. Then we've just got Berbatouch and Vidal to go.
