Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Is that the one people are arguing about? Looks pretty clear that Rooney and Mata are the names listed below the striker.
Yeah the #10s are pretty clear - Rooney and Mata. I thought the #8s said Pogba and Fellaini although the pessimists said it said Mata and Fellaini.

I'll say it again:

Along with Mourinho and the other signings...

What a statement.

A monster of a club that can be shite for three years and just get it done in 6 weeks.

It looks more like Pogba to me too, the only other alternative I entertained for a bit was Anda, but writing it like that would be daft given the actual name is just a letter longer and the fact he went with last names for the others. Mourinho is just a world class muppet :D

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

But you know what is even funnier guys? Glaston thinking Ali was better than Pogba!
What is even funnier than Glaston thinking that Alli was better than Pogba is watching Juventuz in denial after all their trolling and laughing at us a week ago. But it won't be that funny until the move is official. Which it hopefully is going to be soon.
Hope we're not jinxing it. That would really make us the most funny part of all this.
Did Glaston actually get thread banned, or did he actually realise how ridiculous all his posts in regard to this transfer were?

And to think so many fans didn't want Mourinho managing our club lol. He will get us back to the top and thats surely whats most important.

I think this was the most important signing this summer. Its not Zlatan, its not Pogba its Mourinho.

Many Reds are some sort of snobs who believe there is a special United route to success, and that many other successful clubs have no class or something.

Hiring Moyes was a very 'United Way' thing to do at the time, and hiring Mourinho then would have been seen as the total opposite.

Spot on!

Having regard to the agreement between R and #United this time will not be easy to #Juve hold #Pogba

Find an agreement by 12 million per season with #United him and put it on the #Juve table is like saying: "I want to go". #Pogba

i know these tweets were from earlier today.

now these are the guys to listen to and they all saying the same thing. Exciting times ahead boys and girls.

It's nice to be back to that point again where people are constantly taking shots at us instead of pitying. Feels right.

very true. it's great to see the hate back in force on the mainstream media comment threads. we're doing something right. i'd have been pleased with this transfer window if it was my fm save!!

Must keep calm till I actually see him at Carrington :nervous::nervous: If he signs will he join the squad in Shanghai or will he be considered on extended leave due to Euro?

Damnit!! I thought I was going to keep calm and not talk about it :rolleyes::p:p

Mourinho, without even a single competitive game under his belt, already gives the impression that his signing might be the most important one since Cantona.

In a span of two months, without kicking a ball, we became again the most talked about club, signing whoever we want, out-muscling Madrid and Juve, and getting back to be hated and respected.

Even though we did sign world class players like Di Maria and Basti under LVG, it didn't even come close to the vibe and aura that Mourinho produces.

well, he is the best manager in the world, has been for well over a decade. and is on pace to be the greatest.

ESPN soccer is nothing like ESPN for other sports. Don't listen to it.

(Also ESPN is a joke in other sports now as well)

An organization that has Roberto Martinez and Alexi Lalas as top analysts cannot be taken seriously.

:D For me, it was a nice change at first to see people showing concern for the way our club was being run, but after a while it just didn't feel right. This is how it should be. Hated, adored, never ignored.

Feels like its been a decade ... 2013 feels like years ago jesus.
It's gone by in dog years. At least, that's how it has felt, hasn't it? :p

Is the consensus that Juve have only rejected the first offer as a way of saving faces and making it seem like they've done everything in their power to keep Pogba?
It sure seems strange that journos report that we are going to make an offer which is going to be rejected - before the bid has even been placed. If that's not the case, how can we be sure that they will accept the next bid - and that United are even willing to pay the supposed asking price?

This is going way too smoothly. I have a creeping feeling that Pogba is just doing this to spite United and will come back to Juve before going off to Barca or Real in 12 months.

According to the Italian press we bid 100 and were countered with a 120 asking price. So thats what has us kinda pumped that we will eventually have our 2nd bid accepted

I've not seen that much of him at Juve, I hope he is as bloody good as the price would suggest. The games I have seen he's not really been anything that special, but I guess there must be a reason everyone is after him.

Ah, that's right. But it still seems funny that they reported that we had a bid rejected before the bid was actually placed, no? It does seem a bit like play to the gallery.

12 months? Nah, not unless everything goes wrong and we miss the CL etc. Why would he join us now, when we're not in the CL, and then leave us when we're(most likely) in the CL and in a much stronger position 12 months from now? Doesn't make any sense. Then he could just hold out for Madrid/Barca now or stay put for a season or two at Juve until one of them come knocking on the door. It's not like he's being forced out of Juventus á la Di Maria. Quite the opposite. He's apparently turned in a transfer request to come here.

And why would we sell him in a year?

agreed but as far as im concerned this fiasco is all for show and its probably been agreed weeks ago especially after madrid pulled out

A few months ago we had Rooney in midfield and Van Gaal as manager, now we have Mourinho and are on the verge of Paul motherfecking Pogba. Incredible.
