I think people are missing something here. Pogba could have stayed and we could be four years down the line. However, could he have stopped the rot of Sir Alex retiring? What would have happened with him under Moyes and LVG? As it turns out - us getting him now is perfect. There's so much optimism for the present and future - that I think we're in a good position to get the best years of his career. He had four great years at Juventus. Just imagine though...before Jose came in we were more vulnerable and could easily have lost someone like Pogba. So I don't think we should be bitter about how it turned out. I would rather see Pogba in a team with confidence and direction, then one that's not and I think under Moyes and LVG he'd have been wasted.

Yeah thats what we are saying but the other side we are trying to save face and the club said LVG rejected him due to drop in performances towards the end of the season. Dont know who to believe when either party is blaming the other.

You're right of course. However like all staff, a manager will want to surround himself with people whom he can trust. Having players who share his same agent is one way to do that. Mendes is currently to arrange a deal for another juggernaut in midfield ie Andre Gomes. He would have appreciated if we spend the dosh on him instead
