I didn't hear him say that. When he spoke of specialists I'm sure he was referring to new players coming in. But maybe that was his main 4 which would be completed with Pogba. So maybe the filler type players can be versatile.

There's more people there against us signing Pogba and not because of the money.

You see, it's hard to find balance when you have Perez playing football manager every summer, so managers always have to stick square pegs into round holes. Last season after Zidane introduced Casemiro into the starting 11 we finally found it! We found the balance that we crave for and we should have signed Krychowiak or Kante to have complete balance in our squad, to have someone good to compete with Casemiro. Pogba was never going to give us that and as long as Modric and Kroos are here, he's simply not needed.

Like I said, completely different priorities (we need balance in the squad, you need a midfield and a galactico signing). If you don't understand this, then I'll just stop and we'll agree to disagree.

Dont think you are wrong. Surprised perez is showing sense at the same time. But if you end up buying someone like Andre Gomes for exorbitant fees then this idea of sensible decision making will go out of the window. But you did sound a bitter twonk with the James comment. Anyway, we need Pogba more than you and I don't disagree with the rest of what you are trying to say.

Those were both well beyond even ultramuppet status. Pogba was the target for the sensible muppet where we'd semi believe but be let down at the end of summer (Vidal, Thiago, Fabregas).

If true then I very much doubt it, rules are rules. If we was given a pass then the next player who's only a few months off Pogba's will also want a pass and it completely defeats the point of having a specified period.

Bluemoon have literally had about 8 Pogba threads consisting of multiple hundred pages over the last couple of seasons, so if they start saying he's shit then they are just bitter hypocrites.

You're probably right, but that doesn't mean Madrid fans are now all butthurt because we didn't sign him (as a lot od people here seem to think). Some of us are for sure, some of us are not. I myself am worried because we need a DM and if we don't sign one, we'll suffer.

Mou is the most important piece of signing United have made.

For 100m, Pogba is about 30m more than what I thought a fair price. But if he could make an immediate impact as much as Neymar or Suarez to Barcelona, no United fans would care about the pricetag.

That's a big 'if' and gamble, though.
