Lured Raiola and Pogba away with this 20% nonsense and now want us to pay that too.

feck them.

Move on to our 2 other 'profiles'

They lured him away with the chance to play first team football thereby becoming one of the best in the World.

Can anyone fill me with optimism.Looks like we are about to lose out on another player to Madrid.

You seem to have mind up already. No one can help you my friend.

And you'd be naive to think that giving 20% of fees to agent didn't play a part. Players rely a lot on their agents.

If we don't sign Pogba and buy James from RM for 65 million, what will they do with the money ? Bulid a clinic ? Donate it to refugees ? :nono:

We fecked up signing lucas moura and hazard because we didn't want to pay large sum of agent fee.
Hope it doesn't repeat again.

The amount requested by those agent were low compared to Raiola. I think Moura's agent wanted 6mill. It was criminal to miss out on them back then.

Really? Can't say i've seen any links to Real Madrid anywhere?
Plus they only lost out on Gomes because James didn't want to leave so they pulled out at the last minute

Unless something new has happened since i want to bed last night

Thats a strange comment given the midfielders he had at Chelsea and at Inter didn't Sneijder almost win the Ballon D'or?

Now Mou is getting credit for Sneijder? Lyon made Essien a sought after star and a Chelsea fan will remind you that Lamps' ascendency as a player began before Mou's arrval. Some imaginitive player development but then many think Pogba was formed at United too

Huh? That's exactly what Real do. They bought Rodriguez and sold Di Maria purely cause Rodriguez was more marketable and had been voted best player at the world cup.

Not more marketable. Just NEW. DiMaria had already sold all the shirts he was gonna sell, and now all he wanted was a contract extension and higher wages for extraordinary performances. Rodriguez couldn´t demand such high wages due to the high transfer fee and his overall standing. In retrospect United should have been more thorough with their process. DiMaria never wanted to play in England. I think to a lesser extent there is a similar danger with Pogba and Mkhitaryan. I don´t think Pogba would have considered this move, if not for his agent pushing it. He seemed genuinely happy at Juventus. On the other hand I think Pogba is the type of player that says "whatever, tell me where and when, and I play".

This Madrid link exists only in your head mate. Even Madrid's mouthpiece Marca aren't even bothering to try linking them to Pogba anymore.

Can anyone fill me with optimism.Looks like we are about to lose out on another player to Madrid.
No it doesn't. Absolutely nothing has happened to suggest either Real Madrid want him or we're going to lose out on him. The only people worried about that are people like yourself who keep posting this paranoid rubbish.

Btw just remembered that Lukaku is also in Miami, so Raiola could be going there to present Chelsea offer to him

I think this is the case. And as of right now, I have no issue with United playing hardball over this and I think Mourinho's comments suggest he is on board with it too.

Juve cut Raiola in 20%, so that's on them to pay up after we've already given them a more than generous fee. They're acting in bad faith considering the alternative could have had United telling Pogba and Mino to engineer the exit earlier in the summer.

We let them have Evra for something like 3m, ffs...

Hold on, they should act in good faith because we didn't make an illegal approach to the players agent earlier in the Summer?

The thing about Evra is insane too, we obviously thought he wasn't worth the wage he was on anymore, we weren't doing Juve a favour.

Mate El Confidential has written in their newspaper that Zidane and Pogba got in touch last night. They say Pogba is more inclined to join Madrid.

They also say that Perez doesn't want Pogba

Mate El Confidential has written in their newspaper that Zidane and Pogba got in touch last night. They say Pogba is more inclined to join Madrid.

But what you fail to mention in the same report is the Perez does not want him and there will be no deal.

Sneijder elevated his level under Mou that season is what I was getting at.
Also Essien was a sought after player yes, but his progress was evident at Chelsea, he became one of the best midfielders in the league prior to his injury.
You said he never improved a midfielder, I disagree.

I’m not worried at all. I still believe we will get our man. And if it doesn’t happen… so be it. It wouldn’t be the end of the world. We surely had a good to bail out. I believe Mourinho that we have a solid Plan B and C. So I’m not worried at all. It will all work out… one way or another.

still no sure why the dont hire a normal lawyer who would been a lot cheaper he goes threw the contract at a standard price rather than one claiming to be a football agent and charging what ever he wants
My misses works at a solicitors and they have different departments debt collection etc.... so you get solicitors/lawyers that specialise in certain fields I'm guessing football agents are just lawyers that specialise in the football field so to speak

I fully expect the deal to be concluded by Monday, what you need to understand is that we have the transfer fee and personal terms agreed.

Also, Real are out of the running as they are unwilling or unable to pay the fee, furthermore Perez does not want Pogba.

The bitterness of Barcelona fans regards to Mourinho never cease to amaze me.

In this sense, Guardiola shouldn't get credit for Messi, Xavi and Iniesta developments cos their ascendency started before Pep's arrival.

The amount requested by those agent were low compared to Raiola. I think Moura's agent wanted 6mill. It was criminal to miss out on them back then.

It's all relative. The agent fee is a percentage, and the Pogba deal is 3x as much as Moura or Hazard.

Asking for 6m out of a 30m deal is no better than asking for 20m out of 100m. I believe Jonathan Barnett made 9m from the Gareth Bale deal according to reports.

And you'd be naive to think that giving 20% of fees to agent didn't play a part. Players rely a lot on their agents.

Furthermore I think that fact could shine a better light on Fergie's handling of Pogba. There is no way that United would grant Raiola 20% of a future transfer as reward for Pogba renewing his contract.

I guess we should hear more details once Raiola lands in Miami, and as always there will be loads of reports later this evening or even after today's match.

Right, seen this all before, he's Madrid's. It's almost literally the same as every other failed transfer, and it's all pointing towards us missing out now.

Shame - I'd just in the last day or so started to believe we had this in the bag. Just to rub salt in the wounds I was getting referendum flashbacks last night, as all the confidence and optimism suddenly got hit about 11pm by the Gomes news and the quote from Mourinho.

Ah well, hope whoever else we've got lined up proves to be just as good at half the price!

To be fair, he doesn't. I see him get credit for his work at Barcelona, but not for those players.

Let's not quote him. A child sucking his or her thumb makes more sense. He's a parasite who is nothing more then opportunistic. His words have no value.

At least you can see that his comments changed from "no contact with Man united" to "I want the best for my client"

DO we really want a player who wants to play somewhere else?

I guess we should of sold De Gea in this window then? He wanted to go to real madrd, a fax machine stopped it. Players are always looking at multiple options. Also remember that pogba agreed a deal with us. So it's not like he's being dragged kicking and screaming to MUFC.

Thats a strange comment given the midfielders he had at Chelsea and at Inter didn't Sneijder almost win the Ballon D'or?
He should have won it that year. He won the treble with Inter and lead his country to the WC Final in that year. What more can you ask of a player? He wasn't even in the Top 3 ffs.

Quoting this when he holds up the red shirt.

"Pogba è ancora un giocatore della Juventus. Non sappiamo cosa accadrà, ma siamo fiduciosi", così Massimiliano Allegri ha liquidato l'argomento sul più che possibile trasferimento del centrocampista francese al Manchester United. Poche parole in conferenza stampa a Melbourne per il tecnico bianconero che si fida dell'operato della società: "Alla fine del mercato saremo una squadra molto forte". Higuain argomento non trattato.

"Pogba is still a Juventus players. We don't know what will happen in the future but we have faith. At the end of the transfer market we would have a strong squad"

Narrowly viewed, you can draw many outlandish conclusions. No one doubted Messi being a great talent pre-Pep, but he became a different player with him. There isn't a midfielder who transformed and became a special talent under Mou that wasn't or hadn't been already

And no, Pep had little to do with Iniesta or Xavi's game improvement. Busquets who was a 4th division footballer on the other hand, yes
