Di Marzio is the only source you should pay attention to.
He only updates when there's something of note to mention. Most people rehash the same stories, he said about Raiola going to Miami when others said it was done.
He also said the deal was not yet agreed when others said it was finished the deal. He's the one on the money.

Don't think Juve or United will announce the Pogba deal tonight when Ed and Jose are still up in the air yet to get back to Manchester. If the Juve officials at HQ tweet is anything to go by, it will be perhaps to announce Higuain which isn't a bad thing from United's point of view

Unless you have a sure sell player like Madrid had with Di Maria, there is no way you sanction a big transfer like this. Juve are way too tight to be gambling on a deal like this.
Agreed, Juve wouldn't be paying an astronomical fee for Higuain if there wasn't a big sell. 40 Million with Zaza and Pereya doesn't cover the costs of players like Benatia and Pjanic nevermind the cost of Gonzalo.

There have been alot of reports of ZAZA imminent departure to be honest. Its just not reported as much mostly because we couldnt care less. But as you rightly say, Juve are way too tight to not sell him first. My post was correcting the theoretical outlay this year from juve without including a pogba sale

Pure sausage, as I have no idea what motivations and desires would influence players, managers, agents and front offices in these type of negotiations, but while wrapping my thoughts around the possibility of losing Pogba, either to Madrid or the deal falling through, how would this community denizens feel about Kroos in exchange for ~$60MM as fall back option?

Did you not follow the conversation at all? He's pointing out that Di Marzio said Marotta and Paratici are key figures in this deal, and Sky Italia reporting they are both at Juve HQ could mean dealings are being dealed as we speak.
