Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

That's easy to say but let's be smart about it. Any agents fee could be used for things in the future. The club aren't stupid. They know that if he lives up to his potential, his value will go up. Even if United paid his fees, that could be for his loyalty in future dealings. It's not all black and white and we don't have to cut our nose off to spite our face.
Up? Good luck to them ever getting an offer like this one again. In an ideal world where the player accepts he's staying and is fully committed again, you may be right. But they'd be left with a player who wanted to move and saw this move sabotaged by his club's refusal to accept a world record sum and pay his agent's agreed share. It would turn pretty ugly for them. They'll cave in eventually.

There is an upwards trend. There are certain clubs that get the itch. There's no question about that. I wouldn't want us to sell him anyway to be honest. I think he could go down as a great

When the time comes and Juve want a player from us, I hope we give them hell.

And good luck to them negotiating with Raiola for any future players. Their saving grace this time around is that Pogba is a calm head and wont make. Fuss to push the move forward.

Pogba might want to stay now that they have strengthened their squad so much. If Juve can afford not to cash in now, that is. Their squad with Pogba is probably stronger than ours.

This theory has been done to death on this thread.

The only way this is possible as juve are already €188m in debt and don't make much in net profit the owner would have to bankroll the club for another €200m transfer fee's, wages and signing fees etc. The owners have said in the past that they want to run the club like that.

We should never deal with those cnuts again.

I can't open well the list of tweets so I don't know if it's already there but there are rumors about a Madrid 1st bid for Verratti. If that was the case Madrid would be definitely out of the picture

Looking at it again I misread your original post. I thought you meant Juventus. My post doesn't really make sense now. :nervous:

They can't afford Pogba but are bidding for Verratti? Good luck! PSG are loaded

This thread is nuts. People get so emotionally vested.

If we get Pogba, great. If not move on to target 2 or 3. What's the big problem? Mourinho's got a plan right?
People are excited to finally sign a superstar midfielder. It won't be the end of the world if we don't get him but this dragging out is getting annoying.

Everything about this suggests stalling on the player's side. I just can't see him re-signing for United.
How on earth do you come to that conclusion? Literally everything points to Raiola (who just carries out his client's wishes) pushing to get the deal done.

Maybe they would rather spend a bucket load of cash on Verratti than on Pogba. I'm not sure Madrid can't actually afford Pogba - that's just the interpretation of many United fans. Just think they don't want to spend €145m on him?

This thread is nuts. Some say he's coming, others say he's staying, and everything else is in between.

If we backed out now and signed some body else rather than giving in to undue demands then for me that's a sign of strength.
And for all of those about to shout at me I'm not saying pull out. I'm saying that pulling out wouldn't be a sign of weakness.

We cant back out now and sign somebody else. Nobody is left on the market, kante gone, gomes gone, pjanic gone, sanches gone, who are we going to sign if not Pogba ?
The good ones are off the market which us what you get if you let things drag on.

My entire point was United should make sure they can get their prime targets and if a player is not obtainable he shouldnt be made a prime target. Want Pogba, good then make sure you get him, cant get Pogba then dont waste your time trying.

We have spend half a summer trying to get him, we have passed up on several good alternatives, so it is fair to say he is a prime target, so if we dont get him now it is defiantly not a sign of strenght.

This is the next level of body language experts on the Caf..
Facial expression analysts

Well, the translation says that they are small details left to be ironed out which is promising. If that is the case I`m certain the clubs will come to an understanding.

"Mino was looking nervous"

OH NOES IT'S OFF! POGBA IS STAYING AT JUVE!

Christ. I want to be a journo.

I left Tesco earlier looking glum and bumped into a friend, he asked "Are you ok mate, you look a bit down?" I replied "Not at all mate, this my default expression."

That actually happened, true story. The point being that you can't read a person that easily! I was probably thinking about the Pogba saga at the time

Haha loving this

 ;)

Probably, but I doubt 145m euro is going to get them Verratti unless he kicks up a massive fuss

To be honest they're a small time club. It's expected that they act like this. Can't even hold an agreement which they signed for.

Deal is good as done. No person walks away from 20M. Even if they offer him less, he'll take it. That is of course if terms with Juve and Pogba agreed and the only hold up is the greedy fat feck.
Surely Pogba himself will be furious if a triple raise move falls through because of his agent.

Of course he nervous. We fecking give him 25m for job that required a skill of calling people using a mobile phone. If it was me, I'll be fecking dead already.

We didn't even see any photos...just going by the tweet::lol:

There was a photo of Raiola but it was deleted from the original tweet. I saved it though:

I'm nervous whenever I transfer a tenner from PayPal into my bank in case it gets lost in the virtual void, I'd be shitting bricks if I was Mino awaiting his windfall to be deposited.

Morata, Zaza and Pereyra sales should be sufficient to pay for Higuain apparently (his fee will be split into two installments which helps too).
