Not a bad guy (Whale Killer)
So L'Equipe still maintains its credibility status. They called this early a week ago and they were right again.
Can't wait for Pogba to takeover Lingard as the headmaster of the DabUniversity.
110mil is a lot of money, but this is a still a huge coup. We finished 5th last season, are not in CL, and we've just signed arguably the top and most marketable player from the currently very dominant Italian champions. It's a crazy signing, but kudos to Ed for making life exciting.
I'd have to say through all this, Pogba seemed genuinely keen to return to United, regardless of whether Madrid were really in the picture. It's not as though he spent his whole life here, and he didn't leave on the best terms either. Sure the astronomical salary offered does not hurt of course, but he still had many similarly lucrative options.
Euros.110mil pounds or euros?
They didnt really fight back. Honestly the fans dont care about this appeasement. If they had sold Pogba the day before they signed Higuain, they cant and wont do anything about it. What are they going to start a riot if their club had to sell one player to get another?Makes me wonder if this was actually done weeks ago and it's just been silly posturing to appease the fans that Juve fought back
Euros.
I think most aspects of the deal were done ages ago: Pog wanting to join us, us wanting to buy him at the asking price, Juventus willing to sell him.Makes me wonder if this was actually done weeks ago and it's just been silly posturing to appease the fans that Juve fought back
No one knows what the exact numbers involved are. I think what Nerozzi said was 110m + 10m in bonuses iirc.Much cheaper if so. Didn't Juve apparently want 120m plus bonuses, and United to completely pay Raiola's fee?
Rioting because their team cant afford to buy one player without selling a player? Thats ridiculous.the narrative shown by the papers makes it seem like we caved and payed, I read and saw the sentiment of many Juve fans on the forums and twitter, it's a stark contrast between the initial stages and now. they probably also needed time to get in targets. and you speak about if they would riot. of course they could riot, have you never seen fans take to the streets in revolt? its plausible is all I'm saying

Just checking back in, think this thread has grown by at least 150 pages since I was last here! I have just seen his latest Instagram post which I am sure you have all gone wild about God knows how many pages back.. But after seeing that he is 100% coming here!
De Gea

That's some real world class players right there. Let's hope those around them can continue to step up.

What news!?
Cadena SER: "United and Juve are very close to a deal. If Pogba doesn't rebel, he'll be a red.
United have lodged a fresh offer of around €110m with €10m in add-ons (equivalent to £100m in total) and Juventus are also insisting on a future payment of around €5m if Pogba extends his contract with José Mourinho’s side.
With the deal now in place, United are in advanced talks with Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola about his €20m fee
Di Marzio Staff: there's no bid from Real Madrid for Pogba
http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/eng/...lose-the-deal-for-pogba-within-next-two-days/If all goes as planned, Pogba could take his Manchester United medicals in America. All roads are clear and Manchester United is only days away from landing their man Paul Pogba.
#Pogba at #United about 110 million to #Juve: within 48 hours you can close the deal
Pogba to MUFC sees Juve's president Agnelli receive €110m.
Waking up was a bteeze knowing @paulpogba is coming.Nothing will be announced in the next 4 hours![]()
All his goals for his former team.
Encouraging to see how many worldies he scores as well as how many match winning/leading goals.
I hope this transfer happens. We had been overpaying for mediocre talent a lot. The type of talent who we pay 30m are also bought by other clubs for 10-20m. Hence the quality of our squad are not much better than the rivals. With the new TV money every team in the league will have full internationals for every position and ability to be competitive. If we are to pay over the top for top talents then so be it. Our rivals cannot compete with a quality like that on their own. That can set us apart. After all the point of the club earning most in the world should be useful for the club not just for boasting fans to be proud about it.
Griezmann of course but thats not till next summer. This summer maybe Fabinho.Looks like we've finally wrapped this one up, so who's next?![]()

Fabinho and maybe Payet acording to rumours.
I can't see anyone except Fabinho joining after Pogba.Fabinho and maybe Payet acording to rumours.
DENILEThe Zambezi?
Payet hasnt really been linked with us. Useless signing when we have Mkhi and Martial. Also will cost upwards of £50m. Owners said so themselves. He is 29 too.Fabinho and maybe Payet acording to rumours.
Payet? Can't remember having seen that rumour...
