Martial and Schneiderlin had their standard 3 weeks after an international tournament. However, Juve gave both Patrice Evra and Pogba extra time off. I think Arsenal have done the same with a couple of their players. Thought if we sign Pogba, I think his extra time will be cut short by a couple of days.
Regarding the "delay" - the way I had read DiMarzio's update about 48 hours, it was more to with all parties coming to agreement. As for the official announcement, I was(and am) expecting it to take a bit longer for the official announcement as I expect the medical to first take time and then fully expect Pogba to be doing the signing / unveiling at Carrington and then on OT and for us to really get the most out of the announcement. Seeing as he is in LA still - didn't expect anything till Monday at the earliest official.

So I'd expect him to cut short his hols a bit and get training so he can play a part in those games.
