You have to read between the lines. He's vocabulary is sparse if you've read/listened to his interviews throughout the years. He's implying that once Pogba joins then the team wil most likely be successful. To which "promising" makes for an adequate translation in my book. Interesting would be more correct of a translation if he was just observing matters.
