Why are people convincing themselves that the deal is not being announced just because of a testimonial? or anything like that. None of us know for sure how far along the deal is but its clearly not done yet, whether it is a hold up just because of a medical or personal terms or even the fee has not been concluded, even though it may or may not be inevitable, the only thing for sure is we are not holding out announcing because rooney is playing a pre season friendly.

If that happened I wouldn't worry about the thread getting to 1000 pages, Pogba in Rooney sold, 2000 pages easy, site would break down.
 
I really hope this is over quickly and in our favour, I kept away from this saga up until the first "in the next 48hrs" tweet and have been hooked ever since.

I just don't think I could take another saga that's ended bad like the Vidal one which has left a permanent effect on me....

Not saying they do in this case, but I think nationalities mean little in today’s football. Journalists/newspapers have contacts with agents, chairmen, players, other journalists, clubs.. doesn’t really matter where they are based.

And we have City on the fourth game of the season too. Assuming he misses Bournemouth, he gets some minutes in the 2nd game, he will only have had 90 or so minutes on the pitch before we play City.

Should have forced the fecker to finish his holiday last weekend and be in manchester right now.

Me too. I can't keep track if this any more. I don't know what to think or to believe. Too many false dawns and supposed ITK, crap attempts at looking smart. My head tells me it's not happening. My heart knows he's a bug step towards getting this side to the required level. We have a gaping hole in out midfield and if this doesn't work out, I don't know what we can do because I worry that all out eggs are in one basket. Who else is available that can come close to Pogba?
 
His leg is pointing towards Madrid.
 
Anyone thinks that practicing these kinds of arts helps players when it comes to avoiding injuries? I mean even looking Ibra have that feeling that it helps him to be in shape etc.
 
Will be a little sad if this cant make 1000 pages. Its 98 short :(

Obviously you run the risk of impact injuries potentially but if it's just sparring like that with pads then probably not an issue and itd be useful for flexibility and mobility for sure.
 
It's so difficult trying to explain why reading this thread over the past X weeks has been so entertaining to a non caf reader. From despair to ecstasy in the space of a page. Cryptic messages from Pogba, subliminal messages from Adidas, code breaking muppets, flight tracking muppets, singing muppets, suicidal muppets, panicking muppets, reassuring muppets. What's going to replace this when it's all over? This has been by far the best go to place when you're looking to distract yourself at work as well.

It's also, obviously, been absolutely jam packed with nonsense.

Yea guess so,dunno how big impact it has on bone mass,was reading some study that tennis players have better/bigger bone mass then some other athletes.

Luckily, the season begins soon :devil: Then we can all move on to the Rooney bashing thread or the "Static, slow motion zombie passing" thread.

All that aside, I think this season is going to be bloody exciting!
 
You guys really outpaced me, over a week about 200 pages, nicely done! For this alone he should come, i'm fully expecting the 'homecoming' and i'm going to buy his shirt.:)

I think the club has gone Pogba or no one as we ain't really linked to anyone else. No one comes close to what Pogba can offer us!

I keep thinking the longer this goes on the more likely it ain't happening and on top Pogba is having a looong holiday which adds to the headache of uncertainty!

I miss fecking teletext!!!
 
I'm thinking this will be announced Thursday, can't see it happening tomorrow with Rooneys testimonial. We need this thread to hit 1000 pages so it's not a big deal waiting a bit longer. Let's just hope Zidane and Perez don't run in to him in New York and try to kidnap him.
