First manager to get sacked this season, heard it here first.
Few of us already have that bet in the sack watch thread.
First manager to get sacked this season, heard it here first.
In his interview with Sheeves, on sky (not at today's game) - Moyes said United wasn't the only big job he was offered - anyone believing this? if so, what other offers did he have?
Did he say Sunderland should aspire to match Boro's level in the post-match press conference?
Also important to note that yet again Moyes is only comfortable bringing in players from his old clubs. Too weak-willed to invest in players he hasn't seen before.
That squad was always going to need heavy investment, but shoring up the defence with two United youngsters rather than bringing in some experience was a huge error in a club that's favorites for relegation season after season.
He doesn't have time for McNair and Love to mature into consistent mid-table quality defenders.
Kone wants outDisagree. This team could easily finish mid table
Mannone
McNair Rodwell Kone Annholt
Lens Cattermole Pienaar
Januzaj Defoe Khazri
Don't say that. That's too harsh. There was always a plan B. Whenever crosses don't work, give the ball to Januzaj and then let's what happensMoyes isn't a man most players would play for, a club like Sunderland is a good fit. One that attempts to punch above their weight.
When he was at United he said "I want 50 crosses this game" or some ridiculous figure, hes a man who wants arbritrary numbers rather than focusing on the right pass like Pep or Mourinho. Moyes will gladly hand over the ball 50 times per game, not have a plan b, want to do it all himself and not trust most staff and fail to scout good players, which is why he will never be a top manager.
I think his mentality shows, saying about aspirations of being like city. Big managers would believe they are not only sat at the table but are sat at the head of the table. Moyes will always blame others than take responsibilty.
It is a wonder this man keeps getting a job when he can hardly manage to talk the right things in press conference. Imagine going to training after your manager has already thrown in the towel.
Such a miserable, depressing bastard.
Throwback to Hugh Laurie calling it as it is...
Kone wants out
Mcnair isn't very good
Pienaar had not played 45 min in the whole of last season.
Rodwell isn't a CB.
Even Moyes himself has admitted that he desperately needs to make signings .
They wont pay us the required fees though, cheapskates.I think its time for us to sell him Romero, Rojo and Jones. They will be a great addition to Mcnair, Love and OShea
Don't know why I'm so bothered, but I'd really like to see him fail miserably and get a record low points total for the premier league. Is Round and the other twonk there with him?

Moyes is a woeful manager. His excuses are as bad as his football. In any other industry he would have been hounded out - typical of the EPL that it recycles muppets.
Disagree. This team could easily finish mid table

Remarkable that he still gets jobs as a coach

And O'Shea was a decent player..(yes really)

Agree. I see Moyes as our gift to them for May 2012. :-)I have no sympathy with the Sunderland fans![]()
