Premier League Gameweek 7

This isnt even close. Its like watching a heavyweight champion punch the shit out of a flyweight.

Spurs are up for it, but they are so athletic and quick. Reminds me of the old gooner sides that wenger used to put out.

Just swarming and fluid. They dont even need to worry about positioning because their players know they are quick enough to recover.

This. Best i've seen a team play in the league so far. Fluid and athletic are the key words.

Look at the make up of their team. The front 3 are so technically proficient and work and press. Then behind them you just have a bunch of athletic beasts, impressive considering dembele and dier comes back.

Basically all mids and forwards 6 foot plus.

This isnt even close.

Spuds are demolishing this team.

Just based off pure work rate and pace. Nothing more nothing less.

The speed is too much for anyone to cope. Hats off to them.

Pen! Spurs fantastic today. City can't deal with their intensity at all. Also on a side note, Alderweireld is such a classy center back. Imagine having him next to Bailly

I was exagerrating, but yea the bundesliga where bayern buy every half decent player from their rivals the minute they get challenged for anything.

Spurs are showing that you don't need expensive, high profile individuals to play great football. You said it yourself just a few minutes ago. They're just a great unit.

In the Bundesliga they're tactically miles ahead of most teams in the PL. What Pochettino's been doing for 4 years is what most of their team have been doing for 4 years. High intensity, structured pressing and collective movements is just a given.

City have hardly gotten a sniff today, Spurs are fecking everywhere.

Why let Lamela take it? Surely they have better ones in Eriksen or Son.

So if City lose will everyone change their opinion of them walking the league and being champions?

Who da fûck in Sky thinks it's a great idea to give us that shît camera angle on penalties?

Was so obvious Bravo was going to go that side, he spent a lot of time on the other side making his left side look much bigger.

Aiy I really am impressed by this spurs side. Written off by everyone.

So far proving last year wasnt a fluke. In fact they seem improved.

No longer even that reliant on harry kane's goals.

We just need the time to build a similar team. Getting rid of the slow plodding dross would be a start.

Agree that names really mean nothing. Would much rather sign a Bailly than a Di Maria.

Can we really laugh? Spurs are more our rivals than City.

I can. Spurs are brilliant today, but they dont play like that every game. We would have lost today too and probably will against Liverpool, but life goes on.

Cv is irrelevant if the said manager is performing well with his current team. Rafa Benitez has a great cv, but I doubt many on here will take him.

I am not sure what you are implying but some manager are capable of making instant impact.
Benitez is underrated. Not your top class manager but for top 4 team and solid cup run he's better than your Wenger and those similar bottler...

People are so easy to forget how instant impact Mourinho can make for a team: Porto back to back European trophies, Chelsea into proper title challenger both time before self implosion, Inter Milan from European Cup laughing stock into only Italian treble winner, Real Madrid's Arsenal esque CL pushover and league cheerleader for Barcelona into solid CL semi finalist and proper title challenger.

There is already instant change with this Manchester team. We created way many chances per compare to last few seasons. It just need time for the team to mature together.

Let me remind you again 7 games into the new PL season.

For the second week running, a team has pressed City properly and City have struggled.
