We were unlucky today, would have won 9/10. Arsenal got the luck we didn't.We did, and then conceded. At home.
See.

0-0 written all over it.
feck off.
Handball yes, offside no.
He's an Arsenal fan in disguise, no point in arguing with him.Koscielny was in front of Ox. How is it not offside?
Arsenal got away with two pens against Leicester, that bogus pen they got against Soton and now this handball/offside hybrid goal.
That's 5 points they're better off thanks to the refs. Compared to us being screwed against City and Watford.
Sounding like a Liverpool fan here.
It's ridiculous - I have watched at least 3 matches where they have won it in overtime due to a referee mistake. Pisses me off.So how many decisions have gone in their favour so far... I mean no 50/50's, but clear cut penalties and handballs....
WHy not offside?
They have been lucky so far, but even if some favorable decisions you can say the ref didn't see it or something but this one? From one of the replays you could see the ref having a clear view and did nothing. State of English refs nowadays..So how many decisions have gone in their favour so far... I mean no 50/50's, but clear cut penalties and handballs....
It wasn't. A Burnley defender was playing them on.

Look at the replay again. When Walcott heads the ball Ox and and Kos were both onside. A defender was playing them on on the near side.

And I don't think anyone can argue that the handball was deliberate.Look at the replay again. When Walcott heads the ball Ox and and Kos were both onside. A defender was playing them on on the near side.
Both players were onside after Walcott's header. Look at the replay again. A Burnley defender was playing Ox and Kos on.
At the header sure, but Koscielny was clearly offside as Chamberlain was behind him and kicked the ball at Koscielny's hand which was offside. Both players were onside after Walcott's header. Look at the replay again. A Burnley defender was playing Ox and Kos on.
Not much to be bitter about with Arsenal to be fair. A club that ranks somewhere between PSG and Olympiakos in achievements.Love all the bitterness.
Big diddums to all you bottom-lip tremblers.
And I don't think anyone can argue that the handball was deliberate.
I don't think Ox touched the ball. Kos hit it into his hand. That's not the point. Oxlade's shot strikes Koscielny who is in offside position. Even if you don't think it's a deliberate handball it's clearly offside.

Exactly, its easy to say it but your pace that really allowed you to pull it off imho. Wanyama instead of Dier was a great decision as it the former is quicker, Sissoko and Lamela too. Never realised Lamela was so quick. Alli too, 4 of your midfield 5 were really fast, add in the workrate you displayed and it was a complete performance, as complete as I've seen from any side this season. Son too is strong and quick. All around the pitch you were first to the second/breaking ball. Most teams won't be able to harass us at that pace and even under that kind of pressure we made at least 5 shooting chances in your box second half which you again closed down well.
Against most the other PL teams we'll cut them apart if they employ that kind of high press with the odd silly goal conceded.
You guys aren't in top 4 race, your in a title race along with City, United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea if United and Chelsea can find their form. If not its still 4 teams imho and you guys look the most settled along with Liverpool and ourselves but of those 3 your defence is rock solid. Am I right that you still haven't conceded from open play this season? Your CB's are so good together and I really can't see Kompany displacing either if he ever regains fitness for Belgium (although Martinez....). Most complete team performance of the season.
no need for hypocrisy. we also benefited from shit ref today.
Screw you and your annoying team, Grinner.excellent
Difference between ourselves and Arsenal summed up today.
