Premier league matchweek 13 - Nov-25 &26

So, when does everyone else finally realise Pep is not as good as made out?

Really, he's lost what one game in the league and away at Barca and could be top of the league this evening. He's hardly a failure.

No way, city still have a far better chance than us.
We'll see where everyone is by Christmas, this is a must win tbh. They have Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in 3 of their next 6 games, all who beat this City side in my opinion.

Why do you think that?

Just as at Munich, if he doesn't win the PL and has a good crack at the UCL,if not winning it- he will be regarded as that.

I'd rather see City win this than have them drop points and Liverpool win later.

Anyone else playing the 'have a drink every time they mention Paul Robinson is 37' game?

Liverpool and Chelsea's football is far better than City's. Arsenal are so unpredictable;if they choose to turn up they can beat anyone

Liverpool are on form and so are Chelsea but despite our recent patchy form when we put it together we beat Barca. I'd argue we'll be favourites to beat Chelsea at home and Arsenal are unpredictable and coming to our place too. Liverpool is the only game I'd say we're odds on to drop points. Those games could go either way but we'll be the more likely winners of both the Chelsea and Arsenal games though they will be close.

Too early in the season for that nonsense. At least wait until March till we debate which other big team we want to win the league.

No debate. Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Liverpool. In that order.

Until we become contenders, we should be worried about Liverpool.

Defoe can exploit Lovren. It's a matter of keeping out their attackers.
That's like Bill Shankly in the 60s saying to Liverpool, " Apart from Best,Law and Charlton what else have you got to worry about?"

I just wish everyone from Chelsea to Spurs draws or loses points and United wins.

This is hard on the eyes. It's almost easier to follow the shadows of players.

Disappointed to see that it's not just me having trouble with it.

I was hoping to justify getting a new 4K TV by complaining loudly about my anaemic looking old TV during this match :smirk:

They simply score v this City defence, Liverpool and City are also two of the form sides in Europe while City are 45 mins into a record of 3 wins in 12

Liverpools defence is just as poor and they haven't faced an attack like ours. Though I expect them to do well, its also strange how our poor defence have only conceded 12 goals in 13 games, a record only bettered by Chelsea and Spurs who have played a game less. You might say 3 wins in 12, I'll say 3 defeats in 21 competitive games. Those 3 defeats at WHL, Camp Nou and with a rotated side at Old Trafford.

Liverpool will win later. Moyes has already stated that he intends to park the bus...nothing new there then

It wasn't any bus he was planning to park, I believe his words were "a double-decker bus"

Nice to see we once appointed this optimistic, progressive, forward-thinking manager to follow in the footsteps of Sir Alex.

I was wrong actually, it looks incredible on my 4K TV. So glad I bought this 4K TV I haven't watched any 4K content in yet.

I'd go along with that. If Liverpool did win it, I'd just have to credit the whole thing to Klopp, to make it psychologically less shattering. He really is a top guy.

Moyes lives for these games, the David v goliath situations. If they can keep it 0-0 at they have a chance but an early Liverpool goal is game over.

Is Paul Robinson really 37? Really?
He's actually 37 and a bit older than when you made that comment, which makes his performance even more impressive. Just for the record, he'll be getting older during the second half as well.
