Yaya toure... prick... (drink driving)

He could've at least come up with something better than tainted coke, surely? An overly rummy tiramisu from his teammates as a thank you for being such a great guy? A mountain of fiendishly moreish chocolate liqueurs?

Or we can just accept tainted coke. Maybe even sing it to the tune of 'Tainted Love' during the next derby?

Don't ban me please
That jug was right beside the cheeeeese...

I've never once seen a jug of combined spirit and mixer whilst out clubbing. Bottle of spirit yes, separate mixer, yes, both in one jug...no.

Where was Jeremy Kyle and his lie detector test when it was needed the most?!

just read through this entire thread.:lol::lol: It epitomises why the caf is so great. Btw it grinds my gears everytime i see "Drink Driving" . Also find it interesting how generally pissed off Brits get when someone drives under the influence. They generally see these persons as terrorists. Not saying this is good or bad its just not something im accustomed to seeing

Go clubbing in Istanbul- you can buy massive jugs of margueritas etc...

Up there with Lescott's "I accidentally pocket-tweeted that photo" in stupid excuses.

Speaking for myself, I must have been exposed to hundreds of anti-drink driving ads while growing up, while also getting that message reinforced in school, before further getting it reinforced as people I knew were involved in drink driving incidents in one way or another. The same would (I can only assume) apply to others who grew up in the same/similar countries that promote similar attitudes.

If after all that someone still hasn't figured out that drink-driving is stupid, selfish and totally avoidable then they are quite frankly a moron.

Not buying his story. Think he should have just been honest and responsible for a change.

Always been a dick and always will be.

Salaat al-tawbah yaya.

well that I can understand. I have never really grown up with much anti drinking ads, nor do I know of anyone that has had an accident due to drunk driving. so I probably don't see it as harshly as others do. I also come from a place where there's no calling cabs or uber. if you drove to an event and drank you basically have to find your self home the same way you came. nobody really sees it as moronic just be careful and don't over drink. I have been to many an event and drank alot and drove home like it was nothing. didnt consider myself selfish just had no choice at the time and wanted to go home. walking home or leaving my car to find a cab at late hours was probably more of a hazard to my life. Different cultures, different ways of life and different ways we are socialised. That's also something that should be taken into consideration when having issue with foreigners that come Into different countries. certain things they aren't accustomed to. Not saying it's right. but I can be apologetic towards Yaya because I guess it could have happened to me possibly.
