I'm not in favour of having video replays to make decisions based on something that can be subjective. Not everything is stonewall. Goal line technology makes sense because it's black and white. It either crossed the line or it didn't.
Reviewing a decision for something like a penalty claim will just lead to more complaints and controversy.
You see it every week as it is. Some people think it was a penalty, some people think it wasn't a penalty, and some people can see why it could be given/not given.
It would just continue with the inconsistency anyway. One week the person reviewing an incident may rule one way, then the next week the exact same play may be viewed the other way by a different reviewer.

But sarcasm is usually a response to something like if someone had actually said he had lost the plot, then he posted that to deconstruct that point it would make sense it doesn't make sense in this context as nobody has said that.

The reason I'm being sarcastic is because its obviously the right thing to do to introduce video technology and its no surprise it produced 'extremely positive results'.

Personally I love how the referees can get things wrong - it's this huge business, but at the end of the day it comes down to whether twenty-two, 20-something year old men and a referee have a good day. For me, refereeing is a part of the game, not just the officiating of it. But we'll see..

The old guy had to come because of a "misunderstanding" and he was the next person in line that was from Switzerland with no footballing experience so naturally he was voted in.

It will bring correct decisions but I'm against on the grounds that football will become the NFL. Ad breaks will be introduced to games eventually with this sort of thing.
