Some praise for Jose

Ridiculous post. How can you say he was good from the beginning?
He was shocking against city then never played for months !

Our season didnt start against City. Ridiculous post of yours. He was the best player against Hull in the second half.

Never doubted him and I hope he stays around a decade, need someone like Jose at the club.

He played half a hour against Hull and I don't think he was the best player at all but that's just different opinions . He played something like 15 in the other 2 games before he started against City.
So as I said before it was a ridiculous post as he only started playing to this high standard after Jose left him out

When I first heard rumours that Jose might become our manager I seriously thought about stopping following football. I thought he looked like he was having a nervous breakdown last season, my dad thought he might have a drug problem, I viewed him as Mr. Chelsea just as Wenger is Mr. Arsenal and hated both due to that. I also didn't like his negative style of football.

I'm so happy to have been totally wrong. Turns out he was never really Mr. Chelsea and was always dreaming of managing us. His style of football may well have been influenced by that club but either way he has amazed me with how he has adapted to the United Way--we really look and feel like a Fergie team. From last seasons somnambulistic football to this seasons relentless waves of Attack Attack Attack is enough to make me want him to stay 20 years. And I am so glad we didn't get Pep as for sure it would have been more zombie football that I would fall asleep in. I just hope that he finds some game time for our younger players like TFM. But I feel confident that he will later on as he really seems to respect our club and its traditions. Think we are in for a great 2017 and beyond.

Fcuking hell man get a grip

Mourinho deserves credit for his signings. Every single one of them has already contributed or is either starting to contribute significantly to the team.

He deserves alot of credit keeping us on track considering his personal issues off the field.

That is so odd  I've been clamouring for him since 2007 - took me almost 9 years to get my wish but feck me what a feeling it is to have him fighting our corner

I hate Chelsea I guess. And he was always Mr.Chelsea for me. Now I know it was just another job for him, a mere stepping stone.

You were clamouring for him when Sir Alex was in charge and winning us the Champions League? :wenger:

..As the eventual successor to sir Alex, obviously. If I had it my way Ferguson would have been managing still - but Mourinho was always the best choice to replace him when the dreaded day came.
What I meant by "since 2007" was that he was sacked from Chelsea and thus it was "realistic" that he could manage here someday instead of building a dynasty in London.

The way he's handle this team has been amazing. The protection of Mhki, the gall to bench Rooney, and the way he handled the Martial ordeal is impressive. This team needed a nonsense manager that has the track record to have the respect of his players and the club. A lot of unfair results went against us earlier on, but I'm sure we get two trophies and hopefully a top four this year. Cheers to the guy.

Based on what? He did look a bit unwell but it looked more stress related than anything which when you consider the situation with his father and what was happening at Chelsea seemed perfectly understandable.

If that'd happened we'd still be playing with Cleverley and Fletcher in midfield cos there's "no value in the market". He'd never break the world record transfer fee on a player he shipped off for peanuts..

But would most likely still manage to get our hands on the EPL trophy every two years. Not that bad, i guess. :)

Despite the general saying i'd think the old man could have made something really special out of Zaha.

But having Mou around the block is great, he's the best alternative. Looking forward to the 15.1.17.

That right there sums up the difference between mou and lvg... something so small. And insignificant.. Yet very importand.. ( im not saying mou has to be a ball boy. Although it seems he'd make a great one.) That little passion right there .. both with the desire to win yess, But one seems to want to win more.

It reflects on the players. Winning mentality. Which seems to have improved significantly.

His handling of Roo and co deserves credit. And with recent comments about martial's agent I think explains the reason (or a part of the reason anyway) for some poor performances... he was on form yesterday ..
hope the kid takes the advice. As he's a very good prospect for us.

Fellaini brings balance to the midfield, just like Herrera. If Mourinho didn't go Herrera-Pogba-Mata yesterday, it's for a good reason.
And the same pep went for toure ahead of Alex Garcia (who he rated going by his words) especially since toure is now a liability
May be he does not rate Alex Garcia as much as he did Busquets?

Nonetheless, Pep has proven time and time again that he gives chances to youth, Jose is yet to prove that.

Jose has given debut to very few players who went on to become top players, they can be counted in one finger probably, albeit his saying that he has given debut to 40 odd players in his first press conference for United. It's probably because Jose did not give a sustainable amount of chances to these players to finally make the grade.

There are bigger things at stake nowadays. Even our own SAF played guys like Rafael at CM over pogba and he chose to play an inexperienced Scholes over ince.

A team time wasting against us all game and then we score a goal late on to take the lead and start time wasting ourselves.

I've always loved that, petty revenge at it's finest.

De Gea smiling as he impersonated Valdes by smothering and lying on the ball for an eternity in stoppage time was a classic.

We are still only 6th after a run of easy games. I will leave off on the Jose love in until the end of the year when we can judge him better.

Very ballsy subs against Middlesbrough. We haven't seen that gung-ho approach since Fergie. I'm glad to see Jose is adapting his approach to suit the club.

The fact fans aren't crying out for new signings sums up what a great job he is doing. I think we will need new signings in the summer but it seems to me alot on here trust him in deciding when and who is right. Good job.

Him giving instructions to Rojo mear seconds after we scored a 2nd was great too.

No disrespect, but you and you dad sound like a right couple of ...characters
