Giving him the Mkhi treatment. He'll be a beast when he plays again

:nervous:

I expect Shaw to be kept under wraps until the FA Cup vs Wigan tbh

"We are fine," Jose Mourinho tells #MUTV when asked about injuries. "We are in a very good situation." #MUFC

#MUFC boss Jose Mourinho describes Memphis as a "great professional with a fantastic attitude" as he joins Lyon.

Mourinho on Memphis, "I think it is difficult for me to answer because it didn't work also last season, he was a fantastic professional.”

Mourinho on Memphis, "If people think it didnt work because he wasn't a fantastic pro then they are wrong.”

Mourinho on Memphis, "The images of cars and fantastic outfits are totally wrong, he was a kid who was frustrated at lack of games.”

Mourinho on Memphis, "I have only good things to say about him, he is in the one position where we have overbooking, we have more wingers.”

Mourinho on wingers, "It is a position where we never have problems, we have Mkhi, Rashford, Martial, Lingard, Ashley Young even Rooney.”

Mourinho on wingers, "When I had to rotate I found that I had 7 players for 2 positions. We had too many in that position.”

Mourinho on Memphis clauses, "Of course, I believe he has potential to be a fantastic player. Mr. Van Gaal saw his flashes of top quality.”

Mourinho on buying this window, "I think for some positions we are comfortable in numbers even believing that we go further in the cups.”

Mourinho, "We have cup matches and Europa League matches on Thursdays, I don't see us getting a little bonus of a Monday match,”

Mourinho on signings, "The best time is the summer market, I always consider the January market to be an emergency one to solve problems.”

Mourinho on further sales, "I was not even thinking of selling Morgan and Memphis, it was only because the right offer arrived.”

Mourinho, "It wouldn't have been human to prevent Morgan and Memphis leaving.”

Mourinho, "If there are other unhappy players who want to go, I won't stand in their way.”

Mourinho on Young to China story, "I don't give credit to that.”

Jose Mourinho says #MUFC's unbeaten run is not his focus v Stoke: "We want to win matches, we try to win matches, we risk to win matches.”

Mourinho, "I don't care about the unbeaten run, we will not play any match to extend an unbeaten run to 20 or even more. We play to win.”

Mourinho on Pep saying City out of title race, "I don't comment on what Pep says,"

Mourinho on Valencia contract, "I don't see it as a reward, he is simply the best right-back you can have, there is no better RB in football

Or just keep obliterating the thread with twitter links....:lol:

EDIT - Thanks very much lol

"He's been very important for us in recent matches," says the boss on Marouane Fellaini. "He's contributing very well & can be very useful."

Mourinho on Valencia contract extension, "It isn't a reward for him, it is a privelage for us to be able to keep such a good player+man."

Confirming my belief that there was nothing wrong with Memphis' attitude. he simply wasn't good enough. Sometimes, there's nothing more to it.

Not necessarily disagreeing with you, but how often do you hear managers say "aye, he had a shite attitude"?

So nothing on Shaw?

Why would he bring him back against Stoke away lol?

He'll play against Wigan or Hull in the cup.

If he did have a shite attitude, Mourinho would have found a way to dodge it or appear vague. It's also not the first time Mourinho has made those comments about him.

Not often but Mourinho has expressed this repeatedly and even without it being a question to answer, it's clear that this is how he feels about the situation unless he is a brilliant liar. He had zero problems with calling Shaw and Smalling out for their attitude.

Guess I’m a cynic, but prior to the sale, the best thing possible is to compliment the outgoing player ;) And I do think that José is a pretty good liar, comes with the job. But again, not saying there was a problem with his attitude, I think he’ll become a good player in a few years.
