Premier League Matchweek 25 (Feb 11-13)

This the problem with Spurs. When things aren't going great for them they look utterly awful to watch. They are so devoid of pace in that team. It feels like they are playing with 10 midfielders.

Not the worst result in the world. I do like how 2nd is in reach. Liverpool, Arsenal, City and Spurs will drop a load more points in the coming months. Certainly not down on it.

I honestly think this was the better result for us if there had to be a winner even if Liverpool winning is never nice.

Frustrating because from Spurs' point of view, this was entirely avoidable and it's handed Liverpool a big confidence boost.

Needless all round.

Deserved win for Liverpool. Spurs just weren't at the races today.

Yep, last thing we want is Liverpool rediscovering form when they only have the league left to focus on too.

Good win. Now I have to wait 16 days to see us play again.

So nice of Pochettino to leave the left side of the field all open for Mane. The double disappointment of losing in Africa and coming back to see his team has been losing while he was gone probably wasn't easy to deal with.

What a gesture by the Poch.

Annoying to finally escape 6th and for it to be only a couple of hours!

But the bigger picture is that whatever happens with City tomorrow, we're only 2 points behind Tottenham and Arsenal, and 1 point off Liverpool.

It really is all to play for, and really quite amazing that we have 4 cup games before we play another league game!

If by this you mean Spurs just aren't all that in the grand scheme of things. Then I agree.

What exactly is the point of your team? Other than just to make up the numbers.

We remain above United in the table, who remain stuck in 6th place. So your crowing about the result of today's game falls flat.

Fantastic performance today. This is what we're capable of.
Lets keep this up.

I expect no difference against Leicester.

The race for top 4 is just crazy this season, only two points between 2nd and 6th. I think we will finish top four now, we're so hard to beat and most of the other teams seem to have really erratic form. We've made up a lot of ground and we just have to stay relatively consistent and we'll be there.

 it doesn't fall flat at all. My team is incredibly more successful than yours, even when we're in the middle of a transitional period. In any case, I'm not crowing, I'm actually annoyed you went there and handed them three easy points for what seems like the 20th season in a row.

Next season I'd suggest just forfeiting the match and saving on the cost of traveling

That "5 point gap with goal difference" is looking a bit grim mate.

How does the table look folks

EDIT:
Still 2 points (max 3 after City game) separates 2nd and 6th place.

Other than GD (which seriously bothers me in tight run races and might come back and bite us like 2012) we're moving in the right direction … what more do you want.

Unless there's any Welsh people around to gloat to … I'll be off!
