We've narrowed the gap right down, though. We're forever 6th. Fecking annoying.

it doesn't fall flat at all. My team is incredibly more successful than yours, even when we're in the middle of a transitional period. In any case, I'm not crowing, I'm actually annoyed you went there and handed them three easy points for what seems like the 20th season in a row.
Next season I'd suggest just forfeiting the match and saving on the cost of traveling
That "5 point gap with goal difference" is looking a bit grim mate.
You've been in a "transitional period" for the last 3.5 years and counting ... when does it end?
Btw, switching from crowing about today's result to talking about United's past success is pretty weak. Is that what you do every match day when United look up and see themselves stuck in 6th?
Yet we have won more than Spurs and finished in the top 4 the same number of times.
Nah he's got a point. Spurs have bottled it again. We remain above United in the table, who remain stuck in 6th place. So your crowing about the result of today's game falls flat.
And spent hundreds of millions of pounds net more than Spurs in the process ... cheque book management at its finest.

Nobody gives a feck about money spent apart from small clubs who can't spend it.And spent hundreds of millions of pounds net more than Spurs in the process ... cheque book management at its finest.
And likely earned a billion more than spurs during that time. How does it matter. And spent hundreds of millions of pounds net more than Spurs in the process ... cheque book management at its finest.
Just wait until we get our new stadium says @GlastonSpur.Nobody gives a feck about money spent apart from small clubs who can't spend it.
We beat Southampton in 2 weeks and we've won as many trophys in 9 months as you have in 20 years.
No way this is true?!
They won the League Cup in 2007-08 the one before that was 98-99, the last F.A. Cup was in 90-91. So yes. Last league title was 60-61.

Is there a more competitive league 1-6? Crazy to think we're only two points off runners-up to Chelsea. (Four if City win.)
The only problem is, all of the teams above us aside from Chelsea have similar consistently levels to us. It's going to be very very close..

That last league win was part of a double.
ahhhhhh.
The easier fixtures raises its ugly head once again..Not really. Check the remaining fixtures lists.

Ah you're the risk it type, I admire you, I do.
Anyway I hate Spurs.
It should but nobody cares about the EFL cup unless you're a lesser side. Sad reality is it's almost chairty shield level of importance and reputation. Title is long gone; if Chelsea lose games then teams from second to sixth need everything to go their way just to get level with them. Almost to the point where even if Chelsea lose next 4 or 5 everyone else, really, more or less has to win all their games remaining because Chelsea will win games again, too. Too many things have to go in favour of the chasing pack... Very very unlikely IMO as u saidAfter this weekend's results, I am quite confident that we have an excellent chance of finishing second, and if results continue to go our way, we might even be able to mount a title challenge - but that's still unlikely. Nonetheless, finishing second + two trophies will be a magnificent platform for next season. It would be a reminder to other teams that UTD now mean business and are a team to be reckoned with.
Christ that's depressing!I think it's something like 2 league cups in 25 years for Spurs.
This is so sad. Constant "my penis is bigger than yours" arguments between fans of two clubs who really shouldn't give a flying feck about one another.
Even though i think theyve walked the league, im not sure theyll win today. Dont know whyChelsea to kill the league off today.
