Premier League Matchweek 25 (Feb 11-13)

The pundits need to start questioning Ranieri instead of shitting on the players.
The very same pundits talked about Saint Claudio's attempt to play a more expansive game this season but that's all forgotten. It's the players who have become too lazy to play the same style as last year

It really doesn't. We (Utd) have a poor record vs the top six and we still have to play three of them. Two away from home and the only home game is against the best side in the league.

It's actually not that bad and we are in good form. We can do all of them.

Not really. Check the remaining fixtures lists.
Doesn't mean anything. We managed to beat Spurs yet couldn't break down Burnley at home.

There are no obvious 3 pointers in this league - see Liverpool and Arsenal for example.

It's all to play for from here for both Spurs and Utd. Except we have the better squad than Spurs.

Are we in good form? We've won one game in four. One good win at home against a meh team doesn't mean we are in good form. We constantly struggle to beat teams.
Erm, we beat Leicester 3-0 away and have scored 5 goals in two games whilst conceding 0. We are in good form.

You got there too quick for my edit!

Leicester are rubbish. We are notorious for struggling in big games and we still have three of them. We often drop points against hard to break down teams. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. We are most definitely at a disadvantage with our fixture list compared to others.

I'm hoping Leicester go down, dunno why but I loved the story of them running for the title and now I'm enjoying their slide toward relegation just as much. Vardy and Huth are the main reasons why I hate them.

We have 4 actually. Arsenal A, Spurs A (who are still unbeaten at home), City A and Chelsea H. These games are the reason why I don't think we'll make it, unless we win every other game to give ourselves a little leeway.

In terms of likeliest to win, for me it goes: Arsenal > City > Chelsea > Spurs.

I don't really like them either. Especially if the rumours of them downing tools because they want Ranieri out is true too.

Jaysus, even worse. That's pretty grim. Hopefully we stick it out in the Europa.

Arsenal and Spurs games are at the very last, a stage where all it matters is a result, however scrappy or jammy it can get. If it comes to beating these two incase we want a top 4 place, I have all the faith in our manager and squad to get the necessary result.
Most important thing would be to beat those teams that you are expected to beat (we have 6 of them before we meet Chelsea) and make any sort of lead over that period if we can.

Actually, I take that back. It's just the gulf in terms of quality that makes them look worse than they are.

Strange that the goalkeeper was human and couldn't make a save, even though the ball wasn't that difficult. But against Manchester United, a wall...

Chelsea fans don't deserve this team or manager. They're so passive and superficial.

Their home and away support is so... meh.

Costa is too greedy at times. He should played the ball out to the right before he was fouled.

'Pedro has now scored 6 goals from just 9 shots on target in the Premier League this season.'

Man I'd kill for some clinical finishing like that in our side.

Quite the achievement from Luiz to manage to look even more stupid with his hair.

Would Pedro work well in a team like us when he was linked heavily before going to Chelsea? Seems to find his feet now and scoring goals
