Watch him turn into a Ballon D'or contender now.

Was reading this article about him taking Sunderland to train in NYC thinking that he sounds slightly more likable than normal, then he ruins it in the last paragraph by outing himself as a Trump sympathiser...
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/feb/10/sunderland-david-moyes-new-york
All that remained was for Moyes to issue an open invitation to the new US president. “If Donald Trump wants to come and see the boys, he’s very welcome,” he said. “Maybe we’ll go to Trump Tower, see if we can get anywhere near it.”
Oh, Dave.
Donald Trump is at the level Moyes aspires to beSounds like he's trying to make it difficult for Trump Tower to get a result.
How do you go from a 4 nil win away last week to getting smashed 4 nil this week?
Id love to see him go to Celtic, just to see can he actually win something.
Rodgers come back next year to a midtable team and Moyes runs up to Celtic and leave Sunderland in the championship.....where Im sure he will mention his time in the Champions League proves he is more than good enough for Celtic.
Also, a shame Januzaj is wasted there for a year. Would rather he spend six months at United training and then go on loan for the rest of the season to a team with more skill than Sunderland
Sorry but I find this really meaningless. Why revel at his misery?
I can't see how our prospects of a post-Brexit trade deal are going to be helped by allowing President Trump to meet David Moyes - the government really should step-in before Moyes takes us from 1st in the queue for a trade deal, to 7th.
So many things wrong with your post.He should of never taken the job. Sunderland have been fighting relegation for 5 years now and should of gone down way before this season.
Their board doesn't invest enough money and unfortunately for them geography means a lot of foreign players don't want to go there if offers are elsewhere.
It's hard to blame Moyes for anything that is happening at Sunderland. And this will only damage his CV further. I think a lot of people forget what a good job he did for Everton. Koeman is getting plaudits at Everton right now yet his current position in the league is not better than what Moyes managed to do.
Sorry but I find this really meaningless. Why revel at his misery? He has had his fair share of criticism for what he did here but seriously do you expect him to voluntarily retire? Why would he do that if he is being given jobs?
Leave him alone and end this obsession. He is having a hard time and probably is very close to getting sacked. Despite the lack of self-awareness that he demonstrates in public, probably he feels extremely dejected once he is alone for missing out on such a big opportunity.

I think people would be able to forgive the miserable bastard if he didn't come out and make some stupid snidey comment about United in the press every once in a while

He's got to be off soon, probably take over some Championship club and drag all his Ex-Everton and -United players with him.

Sunderland has been like this for years, yet their previous managers (usually without full season) with their ability had kept them up, so if Moyes couldn't keep them up, then it's fair enough that he can shoulder some blame. He spent more than the previous Sunderland managers too (?)
Well it wouldn't be Dave's fault would it, the world is once again conspiring against him to tarnish his good reputation.
And lets also not forget this is the 3rd job in a row where he has came in spent more than any of the previous managers at that club and still failed.
Amazing that Sunderland haven't sack him yet. Seems like they are prepared to stick with him if and when they go down

- N'Dong (£13.6M) - Except that it's nowhere near £13.6M and probably never ever will be. We've paid less than £2M upfront for the lad and unless he has an extraordinary career here with hundreds of PL apps and scores a hat-full of goals then the true price that Lorient will receive won't rise about £5.5M. The lad has come on leaps and bounds since just before going away to the AFCON and has now started to show that he's actually got a fair bit of talent. With the whole squad fit, he's still part of our best XI.
See above.
The upfront fee surpasses the £13m Sunderland paid for Asamoah Gyan in 2010, but the deal that brought Steven Fletcher to the club in 2012 included add-ons potentially taking the cost to £14m.
Two points mate, first off whats your source for the breakdown of these deals?
Because the BBC (who are known as the most reliable outlet) reported Sunderland as paying the entire fee up front for N'Dong. So i'm interested what your source is which is more reliable than the BBC.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37235209
Secondly you can't go through each deal even if they are not all paid up front and only count the actual fees paid to date. When a manager signs players the fee whether it's all up front or paid in installments over several years is still a financial commitment which the club have to honour. And that goes down as how much was spent that summer.
Every newspaper or website that i've read says you spent £24-31m last summer. Now with the way some deals are reported obviously anyone can get it wrong by a few million either way. But theres no way every newspaper and website can be off by £10-17m.
My sister works for the club in the finance department and has done for many years. I can 100% tell you that we've paid no more than £2M for N'Dong. It's a well known fact among the supporters and somebody on the RTG forum actually posted a link from Lorient side showing the breakdown of the agreement. I'll try and dig it out and post it on here.
On your second point, at the end of Moyes' reign if all the agreed fees have been paid then fair enough but it's highly unlikely. Yes the club have to commit that money but it's quite clear that it's not all going to be spent.
What ever happened to Steven Fletcher, anyway?
Joined Marseille on loan last January then buggered off to Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer last summer. Thank God!
Another great white hope from Scotland?
Does anyone think this is it for him in management?
Unless he goes into international football could he end up on BT Sports or BBC as a pundit if Sunderland get relegated? I don't see him slogging it out in the Championship And surely any other premier league club is going to look elsewhere than him.
And I am afraid that this may happen. Far too many managers chickened out of the managerial jobs after being sacked and they are taking the easy way out by going into punditry. Look at guys like Paul Merson and Alan Curbishley. Managers don't even have to stay in Europe to do punditry, and there are plenty of TV stations in the USA, Malaysia, or Singapore who wants them to come.
And these pundits are usually the loudest. They criticize the current managers every week, but they can't even do a good job themselves. It sickens me that far too many are just empty vessels who can't walk the talk. It would be good if he stays with Sunderland like what Benitez is doing with Newcastle if Sunderland doesn't sack him.
