Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

So wait, did he change from a yellow to a straight red, or did he give him a second yellow for dissent right after booking him for the foul and pen?

Did we discover if he got sent off for dissent or denying a goal scoring opportunity?

Most likely denying a goal scoring opportunity. Shows the importance of actually going for the ball like we were all talking about earlier.

I swear there's an Arsenal player sent off every year in the knockouts. Remember van Persie, Sczczczhezney and now Kos. Pretty sure I've forgot a few.

That's pretty shambolic defending. Guess it was very hard to understand that Ramos is the most dangerous player in set pieces

Goal Machine, I swear Ramos would score 1000 goals a season playing striker for a Moyes or Bilic team.

I think it's a straight red as he never actually tried to go for the ball. The rule change to not necessarily giving a red card for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity is that you have to make a clear attempt to go for the ball.

Quality and efficiency are undeniable, but I just can't appreciate teams like Real Madrid or Chelsea. All that money and talent, and it all boils down to athleticism, counters and set pieces. I'd rather watch exuberance and grace of Barcelona, any day of the week.

Ramos is unstoppable in the air. He always wins the duel. Unreal.

Real go through on his heroics again.

That one was lucky, but it's Ramos being the danger at set pieces. Incredible.

Ah well, I'm going to bed.

I'm glad it's Ramos, at least. He's one of the very few Real players that I don't find absolutely pathetic.

What the feck is Reina doing on his knees there?!

Ramos is just unreal. Smalling/Bailly/Jones need to take notice.

Nothing to do with money but with your personal preferences. I'd watch athletic counter-attacking football over teams who pass it about any day.

Sanchez been Arsenal's worst player today.
