Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

BT Sport's 'voice of...' screen captions are annoying. We know who the feck is talking. Who else sounds like Owen Haregreaves for Christ sake? Nobody hears him speak and wonder if it's Richard Dawkins.

I'm starting to wonder will Wenger even be in charge when we go to the Emirates in 3 weeks.

I feel sorry for him and the Arsenal fans, I really hope Sanchez wasn't actually laughing at the performance on the bench, if he was its where he deserves to be. For all the insults thrown at Leicester players, if Sanchez and Cech were laughing than they are ALOT worse and should take the same criticism.

Oxlade Chamberlain pressing the keeper in the 93rd minute, after being on from the start.

Ozil comes on in the 10 mins and the pressing is non-existent.

If I was Arsenal manager, I'd ship him and Sanchez out straight away. Don't think they want to play for the club.

They need a rebuild.
I agree. Even if it means a year or two out of the Champions League, they're in dire need of a fresh start.

Lewandowski was after having one good season at the time though, he could've been a one hit wonder. Signing a prime van Persie for just £7m more (providing your apparent price for Lewandowski is correct, I have no idea if it is or not tbh) was an absolute no brainer, imo. I don't think it was necessarily as short term a signing as it seems now as I'm sure Fergie would've been confident in getting at least another couple of great seasons from him had he stayed on as manager.
Sorry i don't agree, Lewandoski was a great hit with Dortmund and a vital part of Dortmund winning back to back titles and Cup & League over Munich. Fergie just cracked under pressure that came from the noisy neighbors and wanted a quick fix. He did it to for short term success and leave as a winner. Very seldom Ferguson has bought players of the age of 28-29 and it was one of those rare occasions.

Every year same shit. They are such a waste of a Champions League spot.

Liverpool, Chelsea & United would have done better than that.

Unbelievable isn't it. What's the point..

They laugh that we are winning domestic trophies but I know what I'd sooner be doing.

That is the most embarrassing thing I've seen from a PL side in the Champions League ever.

Re-born Leicester only needs a 1-0 win next week to surpass Arsenal´s CL achievements of the last eight years.

I feel sorry for Cech. From playing in a team of bastards who'd rarely ever lose, to a club like Arsenal who regularly get humiliated

That Bayern penno looked a bit soft & do I read that the Arse might have gotten one before that.

Maybe been a bit unlucky tonight.

Indeed obviously poor from Özil not to be pressing. But then again, it's Özil. When you're 2-7 on aggregate and down to 10, do you really bring on Özil? At that point Wenger should've just decided to keep it and 1-2 and not concede anymore.

This Arsenal team are the worst, players seem so careless, 10 on Agg really! Don't know but no manager can survive from this, he better resign but of course we want him stay lol.

Wenger has been an absolute fraud of a manager since the mid 2000s. He should have gone years ago. Surely this is unsurvivable. They'll look to him to retain that 4th place spot, but at the end of the season, if either he or the owners have any pride; he'll be gone.

This result is nothing short of shameful. Words like disgrace get thrown around far too often in football. Usually after one bad performance. But to lose both legs like this, and some of ancillary behaviour, is truly disgraceful.

Oh and

I genuinely actually feel sorry for Wenger and the Gooner fans, I really do. And I thought we had it bad?? Just need a 5th place finish now for the Arsenal season capitulation to be complete.
