Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

The antics, the diving, the cheating...which basically means having Suarez

Suarez bites people and does a goal saving handball in the World Cup, gets sent off, waits in the tunnel and celebrates the missed penalty. Acts a petulant wank and dives all over the place. He's a disgraceful footballer who you like only if he's on your team. Talented obviously, but utter lunatic.

Two dive pens for Barca, 3 clear missed pens for PSG and no red card for Pique

If Barcelona ever complain again about referees they deserved to be punched in the face.

So you support blatent cheating?

I for one hope they get smashed in the next round. Disgusting antics have got them through.

Why are people blaming the ref. Psg are meant to be one of the top sides in Europe and they've just thrown away a 5-3 lead with 2 mins to go. Nothing sort of shameful. Their whole performance was a shambles. Panicking, missing clear cut chances, diving into tackles, conceded FIVE goals where they can have no complaints. It was an all round completely gutless performance from them.
This is the equivalent of Wenger making a big deal about the ref last night as if his team hadnt just lost 10-2.

Don't really understand the depth of contempt for Barca on here.

Their fans are the most insufferable tits in football, whistling every single time other team has ball, lecturing everyone how football should be played. Awful club with a fanbase of absolute weapons.

Craziest game I've seen since the 7-1 at the World Cup.

No stopping Barcelona now.

BT Sport gloss over the dive. Appalling.

Incredible play from Neymar. He just still believed when others probably given up.

WOW. That was just absolutely unbelievably incredible. One of the best things I've ever seen in sports. PSG choked as bad as they did in the group stages. Trap and Cavani have really cost them here

I've only just seen that second penalty incident. Christ Suarez is a bellend, acting like he'd been throat-punched ffs.

Aye, Gerrard with 'yeah that's the type of clever player he is, show a moment of weakness, he'll pounce'. That's completely true, but he's also a cheating bastard.

Unless Barca signed a midfielder since the first leg then there's no way Barca come close. They won't even win outright tonight.
PSG have no reason not to target their midfield or change their approach at all.
This could be an end of an era match, a game that people look back on and say that's when the elite Barca run came to an end
Football eh...

Yep. After this comeback i'd bet on Barça. I can only see Bayern stopping them.

PSG would have done the same in their situation. The falling around and faking injuries when barca needed three fecking goals in twenty minutes... embarrassing. I choose for the side that at least is going for it and trying to play football.

Once again PSG prove they're not ready to be an elite club. Their performance tonight was poor. Every player was a disgrace and they can only blame themselves. Shocking attitude.

I like Barcelona the team.

But upon dealing with some of their fans over on the Barça forum that some of the Barcelona fans on here are a member of, I was shocked that so many people could be such massive tits.

How can people say things like this. Most of that second half was as dull as you'll see, nothing happened for about 25 minutes before Neymar's freekick and then PSG just shit themselves. It's not a great game just a freak result.
I watched it from the 1 minute to the last and the game had me utterly absorbed.

There maybe was a lull after PSG scored, but Barcelona kept at it. And I shared their team belief that if they could just get 1 more goal, PSG would break.

The final 8 minutes was astonishing entertainment. Nice bit of cheating from Suarez too.

BTW: I dont watch much non Man United games and very rarely watch Barcelona. And Im not a Barca Fanboy either. But I loved this game!

Aye, this was a match we'll look back on in history all right. But not for the reasons you thought!

"End of an era"! I'm still laughing.

That's true, I'm certainly not defending a team that does equally as much play acting and has just bottled it that badly.

On what way the first pen was highly questionable? Clear pen, IMO.

Agree about the second pen, it shouldn't have been given, but still, Barca scored 5 goals. Huge respect for winning a match that none thought was possible.
Both were not pens plus a super flukey goal they got lucky as hell.

@BlueCelery let's see Hazard do what Neymar did and completely turn around a lost cause (with stadium and teammates already giving up) within ten mins. Clutch.

Are you serious? They cheated all game long, and got some extremely favourable (and very questionable) decisions from the referee. The Suarez penalty was one of the softest penalties I have ever seen. This result is an absolute travesty for football. Once again Barcelona show us that cheating really does pay.

Cheated all game long, nothing like hyperbole to drive your argument. Only cheating was from Suarez, trying to deceive the ref - I agree on the penalty, it wasn't one for me but I also think Neymar earned at least one of the two penalty shouts in the 1st half. This is what Luis Suarez does when it's a tight match and 10 are in the box, he looks to exploit/manufacture an advantage - I hate it as well. Certainly not all match and I'd argue it didn't influence the outcome. The ref generally got most things right, wasn't afraid to book for complaining or diving and his mistakes affected both almost equally

A remarkable match, would've liked PSG to actually try to play but obviously logical to defend that 4-0 margin and hit Barca on at least one counter. It was a logjam that was going to require unusual advantages to be created in tight space & marking, for 90 minutes. Commend the efforts on both sides, it was an intense match. PSG under Emery are formidable, they played great enough to advance. Would've loved to have seen this Barcelona in Paris a few weeks ago, perhaps the tie wouldn't have needed to come down to the 95th minute of the return leg. But I celebrated much like I did with Iniesta's Stamford Bridge goal

I didn't believe all hope was lost from the outset but respected how improbable it would be to win the tie. Of course, I knew they had it in them to do so but haven't seen much of that until the last few matches - they have a great bit of momentum going

Treble, on

Can somebody explain to me how was that pen even debatable? 100% pen. Barca team of serial divers and you are gonna use your hand in a penalty to stop Suarez going though? Of course he is going to dive, but that is still a pen. If the defender wasn't an idiot it would have been a much harder chance to score from instead they get a pen.

This has all the makings of Barca getting dumped 0-5 agg next round.

I literally cried after the 6 goal. Never before in my life did I experience a euphoric feeling like that.

feck me I love this team.

It felt like destiny. The way psg showed up tonight it was possible for a miracle to happen

Barcelona are an astonishing team of course, full of winners who never ever give up.

That said though, for me this result is all about PSG.

Bottle job or bottling it are phrases that get thrown around too easily, especially on here, but there is no better way to describe what happened tonight. I still cannot believe it's happened.

How do PSG recover from tonight? It's humiliating.

Careful Louis, people are going to suss you out.

Both were not pens plus a super flukey goal they got lucky as hell.

First one is debatable. Rio thinks it was a blatant penalty. I don't think theres anyway to say it wasn't or was a penalty, it's a debatable one.

PSG should have tried to play some football. They even had 2 clear cut chances. But it's a complete bottle job.

There is an art to defending. Mourinho did it with an aged team and ten men against one of the best teams of all time.

To concede six goals is a shocker. Need a new goal keeper by the looks of it.

At least city wont win it now.

Camp Nou late goals at the end & in stoppage time MKII...

Speechless for PSG...

Congratulations to Barcelona making the impossible possible.
