David Moyes | West Ham in talks with him for managerial job

Less than 4 years ago since David Moyes was the manager of the Champions of England and was trying to sign Gareth Bale for a World record fee

Well he basically just said unless you're a British player you have no fight in you. I'd call that pretty narrow minded and dumb. The best combative player in the league is Kante for feck sake.

I don't think anything that Mourinho has ever said can compare to any of Moyes words of wisdom. Or any other manager ever.

Mate, your current manager is the biggest cretin in football. He's good at his job but he's complete and utter cockwomble who chats shit non stop.

Roy Keanes a penis as well but he nailed Jose. He's a cringey little man child who never grew up.

I take it you are not a Mourinho fan then?

I like how much he hates Liverpool and their fans but yes, putting that aside he's an absolute weapon and I'm fairly sure anyone putting aside their bias will admit that he is fundamentally a massive cnut... All be it a talented one.

He's also a winner.

Everything Moyes never was. This is a man that has won more in 6 months than Moyes has in his career.

Reading your comment about Mourinho, all the words you used to describe him could describe your comment and it's orator.

Played the Irishman Gibson because he needed more Britishness.

Fair enough. It is pretty amusing that he despises Liverpool as much as he does. Nice username btw :)

I will admit, I hated him while he was here. Genuine hatred, like he killed my brother or something.

This is ridiculous, just FYI

I feel bad for sunderland... Almost.

I get the impression you're all a bit too desperate to stick knife into moyes at any chance, he's said nothing here that's particularly noteworthy.

You get that impression do you?

Thats pretty much the whole purpose of this thread to take the piss out of Moyes and the silly things he says (of which there are many). And to be fair nobody heres really trying to hide that fact either.

To be fair, didn't Fergie literally handpick him as the next United manager solely because of his 'Britishness'?

I heard Fergie even made him his packed lunch on his first day and drove him to the training ground. In case you were wondering, peanut butter.

Has Moyes ever said anything is his own fault?

Im expecting him to come out and say "this loss was my fault, as I actually thought the players were better than they were, They clearly are not. They are clearly league 2 level and should be proud ive got them playing in this league"

Not sure what Gibbo would make of those comments considering the obvious...

It pisses me off hearing his name.. Can't believe Fergie gave us him as a parting gift.

Good job James McClean doesn't play for Sundered anymore. That would have opened up a can of worms.

This is an entertaining read. Good to see that Moyes considers that Sunderland are "doing the right thing by not sacking their manager".

But, by not sacking him, Sunderland will get relegated this season, whereas they have stayed up in recent seasons after sacking their manager.
Moyes has a strange logic.
Not so strange when Moyes happens to be one of the smuggest coach I ever see despite his achievement is almost nothing. He must feel himself to be above the club.

He has somehow convinced Sunderland that he is the man to perform a root and branch overhaul, all on the basis of what he did 13 years ago at Everton. It's not as though anything has changed in the English football landscape since then...

For all of our disgust for the man you've just got to admit the long haul scam he is pulling off is brilliant. He is operating at some Frank Abagnale JR. type of level, having convinced everyone that he is a real football manager.

He is very good at networking having friends in media. They sure helped him big time with all of this. Even when he is doing badly, they help him absolving the pressure while convincing the fan base their clubs are shite (fortunate for Soceidad that this gang sucks at Spanish). How the problem is elsewhere & not Moyes. Credit where it's due, he's brilliant at managing this scheme.

Wonder if we'll get the usual "we don't have the quality of players to do better" today
