David Moyes | West Ham in talks with him for managerial job

Has there even been one pundit questioning Moyes this season? You can bank on the usual 'he's working with what he has', 'it's an impossible job' on MOTD tonight.

After another poor result for United, at least there's always the Sunderland forum to cheer me up...

A disgruntled Sunderland fan said:
Boo the fecker, let him know that we think hes a shit stain on our great club. fling turds at his face if you have to. do whatever it takes to get the horrible bastard out of our club!!

No no no big fella! Instead have him storm out like a WWE wrestler and have your stadium clap the fecker like he's doing anywhere close to an acceptable job.

Commentator just said they haven't scored in 7 and a half hours of football. It's not his fault though

Said it before and ill say it again it will take us years to recover from Moyes run of disaster at Utd .

Van Gaal didn't help that much but Moyes did the damage and we still suffer for it

How he ever landed a Man Utd job I'll never know. Fergies biggest ever feck up by a mile. I'd rather see us sign Miller's and Bellion's for the next ten years before willing to experience Moyes being our manager again.

Depressing aint it.

Champions of England and with a top quality manager and money available to spend at the time we could have been a real powerhouse again by now.

Probably goes back to the Rooney transfer:
Moyes: "You're only having Wayne if you let me manage him."
Utd: "Of course, wee Davy. Tell you what, if you agree to take Phil Neville off us down the line and you're still Everton manager when Fergie retires we'll honour our word. Now if you can just sign here and here..."
Everton: "Will you make sure Wayne wears a blue pullover in all the press shots, just to soften the blow for our fans, like?"

Thanks for playing your part in turning us into Liverpool, Davie. Feck off to the Championship where you belong.

It's really funny over at the RTG forum. Some of the comments remind me of how I felt during his time here.

On a serious note, some of their posters believe he's not the one to manage them in the Championship - and I agree. Grim times coming for them.

If they are willing to let the ship sink with him, I don't think there is a point of sacking him then and pay out his contract. Why not sacking him sooner so getting someone in early enough to avoid relegation? Staying in PL worth more money than paying his sacking. He's there long term at this rate

Yeah all of this. Sounds like maybe the owner wants to see the club.. so no point spending more money to sack him. The point is his negativity and the way he goes about things doesn't signify anything that he's up for a rebuilding job. I just don't think it will work out for them if they still hang on to him.
They really should cut their losses.

At first I thought Moyes and Sunderland were perfect for one another. A pairing in which both sides are thoroughly deserving of the other.

But now it's just turning cruel, poor Sunderland.

He won Ye Olde Division Two title* in AD 1999, Col.

*...in a raffle.

Thing is, the championship isn't just a piece of piss cakewalk. He'll actually have to really roll his sleeves up and work, and he's such a smug bastard with his 'I'm-too-good-for-this-shit' attitude that I honestly can't see him leading them out of the championship.

It's going to be sweet as hell when he inevitably leads them to 14th in the championship and blames everyone but himself yet again.

Are contracts not negotiated so as to include clauses in case of relegation, so for example Sunderland wouldn't have give him 2m or something if they want to part ways after he's relegated them?

I imagine they usually are but we're talking about an outfit that decided giving Moyes a 4 year contract was a good idea. So in this case i reckon theres a good chance no performance clauses are involved.

Poor Sunderla..

Nope Im still butthurt from Aguero winning the title for City when we were there

Will do the Poznan when they get relegated

Apparently he said he was 'joking'... there's some video of it floating around somewhere..

According to what I've read from someone who watched it - it looked like he was making a joke of sorts, but then sounded a bit threatening towards the end. I dunno.

Only, who even jokes about giving a woman a slap? Some strange kind of humour that!

Been snooping on RTG - this thread is hilarious: https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/so-ndong-dropped-as-not-tall-enough.1347181/

Check out the comment below :lol::lol:

"I have said it before and I will say it again I really beleive he needs psychologically testing, I think he is mentally ill! The bloke is coming across like I would imagine a piss head in a pub who played footy 30 year ago would if managing us."
