How do people on here summarise his time at Everton now?
It was always widely accepted at the time that he was doing a good job there. I definitely don't think he did a bad job but always felt he was quite lucky to be there. A team capable of being very good who at the time had low expectations. Out of everything he's done as a manager, I definitely think signing Cahill was and always will be the best thing he does.
I'm not surprised he's struggling now.

I imagine they usually are but we're talking about an outfit that decided giving Moyes a 4 year contract was a good idea. So in this case i reckon theres a good chance no performance clauses are involved.
Can't believe the club entrusted this guy to get us through the most difficult period this club has experienced in a long, long time.
That may be so. Terrible for them if that's the case. He could do the decent thing and walk away without fleecing them further, after all, he's used to playing in the Champions League and all..
I doubt that will happen, if they want him gone they'll have to sack him. Dave's not going to walk away from another pay-off.
He did well at Everton but I think it's often overstated how bad Everton are and how amazing it is if they finish in the top half. The idea if they were not fighting relegation then Moyes was performing miracles always annoyed me.How do people on here summarise his time at Everton now?

really?Threatened to bitch slap a female reporter off camera
its a very strange comment even in jesthttp://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/78...bbc-reporter-slap-sunderland-match-of-the-day
Videos contained here. Left the full link instead of the media.
He's a bit out of order to be honest. Even if he is purportedly "joking"

Guardian said:Reporter [Vicki] Sparks can be heard and seen laughing and Moyes, who can be seen smiling, adds: “Careful the next time you come in.”
This whole story is pathetic.
He did nothing wrong. Inside joke between two adults. It's said in jest and nothing in the video suggests the reporter was offended. So, why should we be offended for her?
She is an adult who can hold her own. You can hear her laughing in the video. Unless she comes out and says she was offended by it, I don't see why it's a big deal.
Papers and the media mentioning her gender. Why is that relevant?
Yes, it's a weird thing to say. But we didn't hear the full conversation we don't have the context in which it was said. Taking that soundbite and it goes viral. He looks like a sexist pig.
Well he mentioned it, didn't he?
Saying he did nothing wrong is bullshit. He was joking but it was in poor taste and he was clearly trying to manipulate how she asks questions in future.
