Champions League QFs (11th - 19th April)

This season has really changed you
Like @Maradona10 said, Santi seems to have sucked up his essence from last season. Came a point where M10 was hoping we'd lose every game and Santi is the same.

Probable Juve formation is attacking and the best possible. Marchisio is on the bench, still not a 100% fit, and Pjaca has a long term injury. Attacking depth on the bench is therefore non-existent.

For Monaco Mendy, Sidibé and Bakayako are out.

Well Barcelona pretty much proved that no tie is dead after a first leg anymore, so its going to take a monumental effort from Juve to out do them over 2 legs.

With all the goal scoring talent on both sides I fully expect Monaco and Dortmund to be 1-1 on away goals after extra time in the second leg.

Have Monaco and Juve to win tonight. Will stick a couple of £ on that.

I've got score draw in Monaco/Dortmund, Juve to win and both teams to score, Atleti to win with a clean sheet and both teams to score in Bayern/Madrid.

Put a few quid on a few random request a bets for tonight too.

Monaco missing their full backs is a real disappointment, both essential to the constant attack down the flanks.

Dortmund haven't lost at home in two years now I believe. Don't think Monaco will change that.

What score would you go for then? Cheers for mentioning that though.

I have a feeling Juve Barca will be the high scoring game. Nobody on Juve outside of Khedira could keep his composure on the ball, when Napoli pressed them like crazy. Pjanic coughed it up like crazy. And Barca are vulnerable at the back, too. I think that will be a bloodbath, while Dortmund and Monaco are so aware of their own weaknesses at the back and the strength of the opposing attack that it will be more tactical than expected.

I think Dortmund will be in control of the match for most of it, but since the quality of their finishing sometimes alternates between clinical and comical (Benfica was a perfect example of that - lost 0-1 away while dominating, then won 4-0 at home with like 1/3 of the scoring opportunities) I think anyting from a tight match to a clear victory can happen.
Before someone misunderstands me: I don't see Monaco as cannon fodder or anything, just that Dortmund are very strong at home and can unlock a few extra % on those nights.

What are we all thinking for the Juventus - Barca game, who do we think will win tonight?

I'm not comfortable betting against either team, but since it's only the first tie and the match is played in Italy I think Juventus will get something from it.

Barca's back four of Matheiu, Umtiti, Pique and Mascherano looks very weak.

I don't watch any of Juve, is it normal for Mandzukic to be on the wing? Seems like the least likely winger I can think of.

He's been playing there for a bulk of the season, I believe. I remember seeing it once on livescore myself and being really confused.

Something happened in Dortmund, 1 person got injured when the BVB team bus left to the stadium. Bild says it was an explosion.

I agree with this, i was beyond desperate to see LVG go. I understand where Santi is coming from

Ps:
Change my tagline please? something like "made @Niall change his username" This shit has stuck with me far too long!

Yeah, mandzukic plays on the wing. He's basically playing as a left midfielder. Juve use his size a lot in the build-up to escape pressing, and his hold-up and link-up play is fantastic

Just heard that on Lequipe, it's not confirmed yet.

I really don't know how Barca are fielding their team.

MATS
Mathieu - Pique - Umtiti
Bob - Mascherano - Iniesta - Rakitic
MSN

Are you sure it ain't a back 4 with Mathieu or Umtiti at LB, Mascherano holding and Iniesta and Rakitic in their normal positions?
