This isn't the argument, it's Corbyn being a unilateralist vs Labour historically being multilateralist.
 
If pressed, I suspect (in private, at least) Corbyn might say it would be better if Trump was not around.

Attlee was also known for being willing to compromise and have dialects with lots of different sects of his party. Very different to the sort of Labour party we see today.

Not really. If lib dem win enough seats, then its evident that the remain camp is still alive and kicking and are willing to vote to anyone who cares about their will. That's how Ukip acted during last elections. They made the tories shiver enough to concede to a referendum and while they lost the battle (ie the GE) they did won the war (Brexit).

Miliband was unelectable too. Who would vote for somebody who backstabbed his own brother? Chuka or Sadiq are the labour party best chance to win

On the ISIS point. If he is asked that question he should just say yes. The working assumption being that the strike is there to be had and the leader killed. It just highlights how bad he is at his job. He leaves himself open to be taken apart.

On the nuclear deterrent. No I don't think that rogue nuclear states and Western conflicts with Russia make nuclear disarmament more appealing and that Britain should lead the way by getting rid of Trident. In a nuclear free world God only knows what Putin would be up to in terms of reclaiming the Soviet territory or what designs he would have on Western Europe.

With all fairness, how can you expect me to answer that question? What I do know is

a- next elections is a walk over. TM will win.
b- JC had damaged the Labour party big time. If he suffers a big defeat then hopefully he'll be out
c- Brexit will probably hit the UK hard. The Tory party will lose popularity and its therefore important for the LP to have a decent politician capable of exploiting that

Hopefully Chuka or Sadiq will take over. I actually met the latter once. He's quite an intelligent and charismatic man. I voted for him as mayor of London and I'll vote for labour if he's leading the darn thing

You could imagine a strike to kill the ISIS leader. He would be regarded by ISIS as a martyr and someone would take his place. The MSM would love it, the "strong leader" that made the call would come in for a lot of praise, their standing in the polls would rise - and we'd carry on with no significant change on the battlefield.

I forget what it is, but there's a reason for JC to stay on after a crushing defeat, if his preferred final destination for all this is to split the Labour Party irrevocably & force a wholesale re-alignment of the Left generally.

He's not an MP and isn't standing for election. Whilst in theory that might not stop Labour picking him as Leader the press will have a field day with it. I think its naive to think Sadiq Khan's ethnicity and religion wouldn't be a problem for a huge part of the country too as much as it disgusts me to write that.

I'm kinda meh on Khan. A lot of hype surrounding him but he comes across as a bit...empty, maybe? Might just be me. On the other hand, I don't mind Chuka. Spoke a fair bit of sense on Brexit etc.

Well, the Tories probably wouldn't have won a majority and we probably wouldn't have left the EU. Given you recent revelation that Labour needs to do well at elections to prevent the Tories doing immeasurable damage, would've thought that might appeal.

He was such a good candidate that he couldn't convince the people in his own party. But absolutely, he'd clearly have killed it on the national stage.

Britain wouldn't have left the EU, Fergie would still be United manager, it would rain Skittles.
