David Moyes | West Ham in talks with him for managerial job

Should Poznan celebrate kick off tomorrow, not that I'm a bitter cnut but feck off Sunderland
No not kick off! Only if we get the 3 points!:D

Nah, no poznan... I feel bad for the fans tbh. Nobody deserves Moyes

But he's cut from the same cloth as Sir Alex or something...

What's incredible is that before the new Hull manager came in, Hull looked on the same level as Sunderland, but as soon as that fella took over, there has been night and day between the teams. It's a such bad indictment of Moyes. Moyes is a biggest fraud in football since Ali Dia.

Hull also sold Livermore and Snodgrass. Arguably their best two players. Whilet Moysie was signing ex Everton crap, Silva was making decent loan signings.

Hope Moyes disappears into oblivion now. Good riddance you arrogant troll

See this has always been the vital reason that I think so many of us are enjoying all this. It wasn't just him being complete shite as manager of Utd. It was his attitude.

He's so fecking smug and arrogant. Van Gaal hasn't said a thing since his sacking at Utd, Moyes seems to talk about it at length every few weeks.

Can't wait to see how he tries to absolve himself of the blame for relegation.

Aye exactly. Moyes has been obsolete for close to a decade now, it clearly shows with his management.

Moyes on Soccer Saturday "It's a collective thing...lets not blame any one individual" haha

Felt sorry for O'Shea there - he's a good bloke - but I am glad Moyes has now been shown up beyond dispute for being a poor manager and a self-serving, passive aggressive, generally unpleasant cnut.

It was only three years ago....I'd find it easier to understand a quantum physics lecture (in Chinese) than how this joker ever ended up at United.

Glad he's gone. Glad they've gone. If only West Ham could go too.

That's a shameful comment. Who does he think the fans are going to blame? Bob Bleedin' Stokoe?

He doesn't help himself. He has zero self awareness so If he wasn't so fecking deluded, arrogant and didn't receive special treatment from the media, I'd guess people would feel sorry for him.

Glad to see the back of them and him. Hopefully he stays and can lead them to mid table glory in the Championship for the next few years.

Good riddance to this clown.

'To win the Champions League, you need 5 or 6 world class players.'
'I actually think if Sir Alex was here this year, it would be difficult for Sir Alex as well and I’m sure he would be aware of it.'
'I should've been given more time.'

I liked how this man of courage and good will skittered down the walkway at the end of that, doesn't even give the slightest acknowledgment to the fans who had to watch all of his crap. It was time to applaud the fans and take your moment of humiliation, you spineless cnut.

Sunderland...I feel bad for O'Shea and the kids (as I usually do), but it's long overdue for another club to get an opportunity in the PL. Roll on Brighton.

Hopefully Moyes will find employment back at Everton. As a janitor.

It's definitely his attitude for me. We know the United job is difficult, and I would have had sympathy for him, but his arrogance just turned me off. He also never wants to take responsibility. All that he's a 'nice' guy stuff was all propaganda from his mates in the press. I was shocked when quite a lot of people didn't see through that bullshite.

Do your poznan now cnuts :mad:

Never thought Id be so savagely happy to see a club relegated. Good riddance. Shame it wasnt us responsible for dumping them.

So glad he's got relegation on his cv now the cnut, and your username takes me back a few years :)

I'm no spring chicken!

Merson on SSN talking about the future of Sunderland. Thinks Moyes should stay. And so it begins.

There's a good argument to be had that it's the opposite. You're a great manager if you take a bunch of misfits and turn them into cohesive unit.

He's stayed arrogant and, most importantly, he hasn't shown the ability to learn anything. Still signs the same crap players. Still uses the same tactics that every other manager knows how to exploit. Still is an awful man manager. Still blames everybody around him, it's never him.

I think if Moyes had gone into those interviews after his firing with a different tenor...

"It (United manager) is a tough job. There are very few jobs like it in football. I went into it with my own idea of how to do things but it turned out to be much more than I expected."

...then I think most fans would chalk the entire debacle to a loss and move on. He's been the complete opposite of this so the knives are always out.

He's done an absolutely awful job there and seems to have been given a free ride for some reason. He's done as a manager, a busted flush, ruined by his experience at United it seems.

Any cheering today Sunderland fans? Didn't think so, back where you belong!

Clocked Moyes making some comment in the papers about how in the summer "everyone" thought he was the best choice, and "No-one" thought otherwise.
Absolutely deluded clown!

He was a disaster at the champions, useless abroad, and has been appalling at Sunderland.

He needs to wait around a bit until Brendan is finished at Celtic and hang about there for a bit. Couldn't fail to be top 2 there

The absolutely incredible thing is the story today that he was "dropping hints" he might walk out.

The idea of it being his decision!

You can tell he thinks he's done a tidy job there.

"Well it was a sh!T squad, and they've been struggling for years"

I don't even mind Sunderland. They're an average club that I rarely pay attention to but I just hate that twat. Hence the happiness that they're down.

When Big Sam took over Crystal Palace, they were only 1 point better off than Sunderland. The difference Big Sam made in comparison to Dreary David is night and day.

Indeed. Hard at United with players who had just won the league, hard at Sunderland with players who are not so good.

Poetic that Poznan doing wankers are taken down by Moyes. Don't come back now for good few years...

Aye. I'd be flabbergasted if he ever got another Premier League job after what he served up this season. He's fecking done.

I hope he does a season in the Championship as I can see Sunderland struggling and that'll really be his breaking point, but I feel he will jump ship/get pushed this summer. For some unknown reason I bet he still believes he deserves a top 6-8 Premier League team :wenger:

Just out of curiosity, has there been anyone that's comparable to Moyes getting the United job. I.e. - a total fraud ending up in one the biggest jobs in the world?

Their British managed club gets relegated thanks to a goal by a Norwegian and a Serbian's penalty being saved by a Bosnian-born Swiss goalkeeper, whose manager is Portuguese.

Sunderland fans won't have hated foreigners this much since yesterday.

Poor Wee Davey!

Seriously though, should he just retire from the game??? Where can he go now? He reckons he's still a top level manager so he ain't gonna go League 1 or lower.
