We need to win today, obviously, but come next Sunday spurs could have nothing to play for except it being their last game at white hart lane which matters feck all except atmosphere but if the players are dejected the fans will follow. In short we need Chelsea to win their next two games to give us a good chance against spurs.
I disagree. Spurs will 100% be up for that game because of it being the last at WHL, regardless of whether or not the PL is out of reach by that point. Also the chance to go through a season undefeated at home is not something you pass up.
A United win today, and I see us needing 6 points (with United dropping 2/3 against Spurs & us just about squeeking through). A draw/loss, and I think 4 will be enough.

Spurs would get more money from the CL tv pool if there are only 4 english teams in the CL instead of 5 (if we win europa). Everyone knows how greedy Levy is so maybe he will get them to play shit vs us so he can get himself an extra £10m

on the inside i'm excited at the possibility of winning this game and what it would mean for our top 4 hopes as well as Arsenal's demise. However i'm trying to remain calm as I remember we're just as inconsistent in the league as all the teams around us.

Top 4 race was dead as soon as we beat Celta. There's no point focusing our energy on the league now to get a spot in the CL playoffs when you get get straight through to the group stage with a EL win.

Liverpool get 6 points from their last 2 games and they're guaranteed top 4 then. 4 points from their last 6 though, and they could potentially still finish in 6th, behind us and Arsenal.
My prediction:

Now need to worry about arsenal midweek, could be one point behind us before we play on Sunday. Them last two games are bankers for them.
