Spurs did not win any trophies this season but they have definitely won over a lot of neutrals, I'm sure.
They need to win something to move to the next level. It means nothing playing nice football without actually winning silverware. We are having a poor season yet we can still win 3 trophies while they will end the season empty-handed.

Thats just terrible defending to be fair. Defenders were no where near anyone despite numbers back.

Exact same goal as his 3rd. Hate Leicester and I hope they put this result in the fecking Jamie vardy movie.

Is Kasper trying to get Shakespeare sacked as well? Didn't even try to save those last two.

If the match keeps on 10 more minutes they would have scored 2 more goals, urgh..

Yep, I also have a feeling this maybe their peak. A fight for 4th next season and all these players will be picked off next summer. I hope not as they are pretty likable.

What makes you think that? It's a young squad, think they can actually go up another level from where they are currently if they keep everyone for another couple of seasons. Alli certainly can still improve and I think they can upgrade a couple of their current starters too.

Big thing for them next season is how they cope with playing at Wembley though. And Pochettino needs to improve in the transfer market, he's had more misses than hits in his time there so far.

I wonder if we'll ever score 6 goals in a match ever again.

What was the last time we won 6 anyway ? I can't remember.

The last time we won 5 was just last year tbf, in Europe League against that team I don't remember its name :D

Blackburn at home in 2010/11 I think. Won 7-1, Berba scored 5.

Yeah, I agree. If they keep this up, it's only a matter of time. It's actually amazing that they have not done so so far.

We'll see how they'll do next season when they move to Wembley.

Wait, how could I forget the 8-2 against Arsenal in 11/12?!

I forgot it too LOL.

We had a great start of the season. As I remembered we also beat Bolton 5-0 and think Spurs 3-0 also. Shame season turned to shite in the second half.

I think that because of youre last paragraph. Wembley may be a struggle and how will they keep this squad fresh with real quality when all the big clubs are ready to spend. I also said I hope not but can we really rely on levy not itching to being involved in the first £100 mil deal for the jewel in their crown.

Our 8-2 vs Arsenal was the last time we scored 6+ in a competitive game

Tottenham will win the league next season

I don't think we will, not with having to play all our home games at Wembley. I expect our performances at Wembley will improve compared to this season - they could hardly get worse - but it'll be all but impossible IMO to get anywhere close to our fantastic home record this season. Of course we could perhaps compensate with a better away record, but it's difficult for me to see that being enough.

I'd be content to see another top 4 finish league-wise (and even that won't be easy) ... and then into the new era in our new stadium

Agreed, especially given how we looked this season at Wembley. Top 4 next season would be a good finish. I believe Poch indicated we would begin holding training sessions at Wembley on a regular basis soon, but can't recall exactly when.

Spurs just scored in 1 game, the same number of goals, we have scored in our last 7!
Send our attackers to Spurs, to train and learn how to score goals, from Kane. They may learn a thing or 2.

WTF? Bumping a random thread from 2 years ago to say three words. Bit late are you not?

He's on dial up, won't see your post until next year.
