David Moyes | West Ham in talks with him for managerial job

Who is he going to ruin next then?

Give him a second mate. He needs to call his media pals first.

Then he can have a sit down interview and explain how all the players were shite, even the ones he bought and that the owner let him down badly with both lack of funds and lack of years to 'get it right'.

He probably will find a job somewhere but any club above the Championship hiring him will be met with global sniggering. God love them, whoever that poor club are.

Watch the media now say he was too good for Sunderland, that their team wasn't good enough, that he couldn't stop them going down, and that he deserves a chance at a good PL club next season.

Shocked, never thought he'd leave without his compensation....mmmm.. can't wait to see what they say on Ready to Go:lol:

This. So predictable...

He should walk away as I don't think he has it in him to get Sunderland straight back up, will be a really difficult job given their financial situation and he could easily find himself struggling in bottom half of championship next season.

I imagine both parties want out but Moyes won't want to leave without a pay off and Sunderland can't afford to pay him off so they are stuck with each other.

Unbelievable.

He'll be back. Premier League chairmen usually aren't the most forward thinking bunch.

He's finished in this country imo. His reputation has completely gone but it wouldn't surprise me if another low level PL club takes a chance with him only for him to fail again.

Heh, badly timed. ;)

Yeah i didn't think he would walk away without a pay off, must have been desperate to leave. No idea where he goes from here, way he carried himself at Sunderland will have put off a lot of teams.

Don't see any team taking him on now. Fraud manager who has been found out.

I'd still be quite angry if I was in their place. The fact he had to resign speaks volumes of their board who should've sacked him in December if not earlier imo
What's even going on at Sunderland? They seemed fairly mediocre under Bruce, then they were getting worse with each manager and each season, then their best player got a jail sentence for being a pervert, then they've put all their trust into the last man on earth that should be trusted with a football team and now they're never coming back to PL.

Sad, in many ways.

Incredible! I thought surely there must be a little bit of dignity left in this man and he'll fight with Sunderland for promotion next year.
Didn't he recently say he was staying? Must of gotten a job offer abroad and jump ship.

Aye in fecking Qatar or somewhere.

Leaving without a pay off is still rather classy, no? If he was as deluded as some here think, he'd probably do his utmost to take most of his contract.

This should all be a troll.
And SSN should say 'sorry, we didnt mean he resigns, we meant he re-signs, for another 4 years to complete the project'

David Moyes | Blunderland Manager | Slapped with FA charge | Relegated | Resigned | Hole in sock | Cat's left him | Flat tire | Etc

According to reports this morning, Moyes had been told none of the parachute payments would be made available for investing in the squad. To me, that sounds like Short was sending him a very clear message that he wasn't wanted and trying to force him into resigning. I am sure the new manager will get some funds to rebuild the squad.

Ready to go reacts to the Moyes resignation

'feckING PRAISE THE LORD HOLY feck IM GONNA RUN THROUGH THE STREETS WINDMILLING MY COCK HAHAHAHHAHAHA'

'Scenes in my pants right now. Nearly crashed my car when it broke on the radio celebrating'.

'GETTTTTTT THE feck IN!!'

'WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE'

'GEEEEEERRRRRRRIIIIIIIIN YAAAA BAAAAAASSSSSSAAAAAA'.

Always moans about not being given enough time, then when he finally gets a club that backs him he quits.

You've got to feel for the guy on a human level. From landing his dream job to being perceived by everyone, everywhere as a total failure all in the space of 3 short years. That's got to be tough to take.
But I'm sure he'll try his best.

He's a proper coward. He should of stuck around and tried to take them back up. Maybe he would of gained a bit more respect back. But oh no he runs away

Please let him find another job quickly, so we don't have to suffer him as a pundit.

Resigning is just about the only decent thing he's done in the last four years. Assuming his intention is to downsize to a League One club.
