Blasphemy!!

Blasphemy!!
Rashford
Martial Griezmann Mkhitaryan
Fabinho Pogba
He's not my favourite signing for that position, but I'd still be delighted if we got him.
Would likely be:Seems like the best way to get the best out of a Griezmann/Pogba combination.
You'd imagine we'd also look replace at least one of Martial/Rashford in that set up too though.
He's almost certainly City bound I think. I'd love to have him here, which is something I hate saying about likely signings of Citybut I don't see it happening. I think our best option is Matic if Chelsea decide to cash in.
Just a heads up about that Julian_mgrt account that reported that we are leading the race for Fabinho. I'ts this guys new account who wanted to separate transfer information from his personal twitter after his account started getting a lot of attention. From what i hear he was the first to break Silva to City and he has been pretty solid all around for Monaco transfer stuff, he has some links with the club apparently. Le's not get carried away with this one but..... FabinON!![]()
Who would you find preferable out of interest?
It's a tough one. I do believe he has been right in the ones that he's called, but on the other hand I think they've all been transfer saga's that have been quite obviously very likely to go through at the point that he's called it (although all the muppets listen to shithouse media stories and panic). Zlatan and Pogba last season for instance, and Griezmann this season. I don't think he's called anything that hasn't already had a strong chance to go through. Note - I would say that this Fabinho story is now strong enough that it would fall into that category. It doesn't mean it's definitely going to happen, but if I had to put my money where my mouth is I'd say yes.Could be true. On the other hand, I can't remember him ever being wrong about a transfer.
@Julien_m_18. Gonna keep an eye on him before lifting his blacklist though, as he was one of the ones who said Mendy's move to City was imminent a few days ago and that he was on a plane to City when he wasn't.That is good news. A link to his old Twitter would be perfect. Thank you.
Would likely be:
New CF/Rashford backup
Perisic Griezmann Mkhitaryan
Fabinho Pogba

He signed a contract last May and the clause went up to €80000000.I'm generally more a fan of versatile midfielders like Herrera, as opposed to specialists like Fabinho, so my vote would go to Saul Niguez of Atletico. The guy is a great midfield all-rounder. Also allegedly (since all Spanish players have them), his release clause is €45m which makes him attainable if he's up for coming.

I'm not sure what I was thinking to be honest.Ah did he? Feck.
Also, who writes millions like this?![]()
Surely they won't sell Silva, Mendy, Bakayoko, and Fabhino.

Surely if they get a combined €200m and get the transfers done before the window even opens, it's great for them. They'll have plenty of time to invest half the money (or less) in replacements while laughing all the way to the bank.
I don't know, I feel like Mourinho likes playing with a number 10 and also that pogba and herrera isn't defensive enough for him... if we spend50m on fabinho he will likely play him. Leaves pogba and fabinho cmwhy? Herrera was our best player this year.....mourinho seems to trust him

hes my fave player, im saying what im worried might happen. he should be captainBit harsh no? Whilst not a pure defensive midfielder Herrera has outstanding statistics regarding tackles, interceptions etc. He is all energy. Everytime we've done a job on a team, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. he's been one of the standout players for his defensive contributions.

Apparently he's a versatile midfielder, because sometimes Jardim used him as a 10, like in their last game.I'm generally more a fan of versatile midfielders like Herrera, as opposed to specialists like Fabinho, so my vote would go to Saul Niguez of Atletico. @VanGaalEra showing some desperation to unlock some muppetry there!
All these formations without Herrera.. I'm not so sure.
Is Fabinho capable of being the Makelele with Herrera the Essien, freeing Pogba to be in more of a Lampard position?
Griezmann could end up playing on the wing...
It's nice to have options either way I suppose, we definitely don't have that luxury at the moment
If we play with a midfield 3 with Pogba in a free role then Griezmann will be fine through the middle at 9 with Pogba supporting him.If it's a choice between playing Herrera with Griezmann out wide or not playing Herrera and having Griezmann centrally then I'd have thought the latter makes far more sense? Griezmann would nominally be our best player, so why sacrifice him for a lesser one?
Will Monaco have anyone left?
I think it would be such a waste to sign Fabinho only to play him in a two with Pogba. A midfield of
Pogba - HerreraWould be one of the best midfields in the league, and potentially one of the better central midfield setups in world football. Would much rather play the three together than use a 4-2-3-1 with Pogba and Fabinho. Herrera has been our player of the season and is a defensively solid, reliable B2B midfielders. The three of them compliment each other well. The only issue with that midfield is maybe Pogba bares the burden of creativity by himself, but Fabinho is a good passer and Herrera has shown that he can deliver the final ball well (e.g. the pass to Rashford in the 2-0 win vs Chelsea).
Fabinho
Really hope we get Fabinho, and I really hope we play three central midfielders to cope with the better sides domestically and in the Champion's League. I think 4-2-3-1 was really popular around 2010-2013 but I'm not so sure it works against the top sides anymore.
