Pfft, nobody wants to see a head to head debate. Hearing Corbyn answer questions about IRA links while May says what kind of deal she wants for Brexit is much better.

But yeah, like DOTA said it was the case last election, only last election Cameron showed up for the 7-way debate.

Well Farron is starting from a base of 9 seats. 48% of people in the UK think as he does about Brexit, so if he doesn't gain anything in the election, the lib/dems may as well call it a day.

Always liked the Guardian. Maybe they weren't vociferous in their support, but still very well reasoned. I can't afford to pay 60 dollars or something each year for membership but I have been mulling over a one-time donation. I think I may just do it now

Of course I saw it. I posted quite a bit during the Q&A. Corbyn was sincere, amicable and genuine with his answers. The Maybot was full of shit. That's why an audience member mouthed "That's bollocks" as she spoke. The audience were openly laughing at her. She's a joke.

Regarding Labour, there's no way Owen Smith or Yvette Cooper could have galvanised this kind of support. Corbyn has been marvellous whilst campaigning. Corbyn is not just "Tory-lite". The reason so many people support him is because they can see that he is someone with strong political convictions and genuinely believes in a fair society and country. That is why people who do not usually vote have felt engaged and energised by someone with strong political convictions.

He also has a party within a party - Momentum - pushing him on and ensuring that Labour gets the support it needs.

Corbyn's having a good campaign but lets not over hype his support.

The latest poll shows 39% are satisfied with him and 50% dissatisfied,

May - 43% satisfied and 50% dissatisfied

They're the ones saying we need to stop spending money because it doesn't make the team better and supporting them more enjoyable. They want the Glazers to take bigger dividends instead.
 
I'm not from the UK but conservative idealism is well past it's due date. How do they keep getting elected in the UK?

Still, don't people have a mind of their own or any form of intelligence to come to the conclusion that change is needed? I keep seeing the same promises from the conservative party only to be broken a few months after being elected. Then you start seeing the working middle class crying about how the conservatives always think about the top 1% but yet they keep voting them in. It doesn't make sense. I'm not saying labour are better but sometimes a big loss is needed for a party to shake up it's main principles. If the conservative party keeps winning, it will never evolve and adapt to the needs of society, not to mention the issue of complacency which may result in inefficiencies and making certain people in government think that they have a God given right to be there.

May apparently expressed her 'disappointment' at the US for withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord. What a spineless person she is. The UK should have joined Italy, Germany and France in saying that they wouldn't agree to renegotiating the Agreement for the US. May is bending over backwards to please the US.

I'm guessing the cut off part was her saying that in the interest of electoral fairness, that was said to him before he went on.

Kind of rubbish though - his song is anti-tory, if you're worried about being seen as biased then don't have him on or also have a person who wrote a pro-Tory song that's been downloaded by thousands of people on as well. Oh right, there isn't one :D
