That´s why he´s not on the bench. Madrid/Flores always try mobbing tactics, when they want to sell a player to recoup the necessary funds to sign their next big superstar, so basically every summer.
It´s also why the ADM transfer was doomed from the beginning and if United go for Bale or James, they better make 100% sure that they want to be at United. And not just, because Madrid will only sell to the highest bidder and United is the lesser of two evils.
That's why I hope law of averages catches up.
