The police reaction time to the start of this incident, reported as 90-120 seconds, is an amazing job by British security forces and should be commended.

I hope the situation with the policing numbers is looked at very seriously after whats happened recently, now is not the time to be cutting the numbers when we need them the most
I think its stupid to say nothing can be done about it.
True, I suppose the police heeding warnings from within the community (such as those regarding Abedi) can potentially mitigate, but obviously not eliminate the threat. Huge resources would be needed, but in the circumstances, there really is no choice but to maximise vigilance.

He says one of them men had "canisters taped to his abdomen" and threw chairs at him, then ran away.
Quite impressive coverage on ITV. Multiple reporters, covering it from multiple locations, each of them reporting absolutely feck all. Trump's braindead tweets are the only new bit of information they've mentioned in 20+ minutes.

Guys crashed the van on the bridge, wasn't sure whether he hit the people.
3 guys jump out and start punching, kicking and ultimately stabbing the people they tried to ram.
They ran off towards the bars with knives, saw some youngish girl staring at them and stabbed her.
Ran down towards the bars shouting this is for Allah.
I really hope no one actually show his video, especially if he captured any of the violence.

To be honest. I think there should be no coverage at all. Why put yourself and others in danger, just for some stupid exclusive live coverage. Let the fecking police do their work. Let the police hold one press conference, when it is all said and done. Report and that´s it. Don´t give these assholes a platform. That would help a little.
