That would be ideal, but with social media making all of us amateur journalists I'm glad we have the likes of the BBC to filter reports and show some restraint in their work.

The people in question might very well be religious. They just don\t agree to your image of religion.
Aren\t buddhists killing muslims in Myanmar? Every person has the right to interpret religion the way they fecking want to. Atheists tend to follow logic and morals that takes humanity forward.

Reported on BBC, unconfirmed reports state that 2 men were shot. I admit normally they tend to report of any arrests by now if they've been made.
The reporter is suggesting we could go back up to critical, whilst this doesn't mean a great deal surely we can't keep flicking between the two? They'll come a point where we have to stay at critical.
I'd be concerned about mistaken identity if they did that.
Given the current climate id not be surprised if they arent coppers.
The thing we need to figure out is why all these mentally ill people are so drawn to islam. It seems almost all of these attacks by mentally ill people are done in the name of islam so figuring that out will get us a lot closer to the solution.

Not to mention the Buddhists crashing into ships for their deified Emperor during World War II. Buddhists have the capacity for mindless violence, every bit as much as Christians, Muslims, or whoever else you'd care to mention.
To be fair, a stabbing in London is by no means unusual, it's not a huge coincidence that it happened at the same time and obviously it's going to be linked and cause panic.

I agree. It's awful but considering the ease of which the incidents tonight can be replicated and the recency of the MEN attack then it may well be considered critical for a while.
These groups target the mentally ill and radicalise them. It's not a case of being naturally drawn to Islam, it's a case of the terroists identifying them and grooming them.

Are we really doing this? Are we just chalking it up to unfortunate people that are mentally unwell carrying out these attacks?
It's always "in the name of Allah", which I know annoys the muslim communities no end because this is not how they view their religion. But it is what it is. Everybody of all race/religion is against this shit, but if they are doing it in the name of the Muslim religion then that's what it is. It doesn't mean they are right. If they were white Christians then we'd condemn it just the same. But we wouldn't hide from this fact or be ashamed to mention it. Its a oroblem that we all have to deal with.

I hadn't read that sorry. But I'm sure I've heard the CIA say that you are more than 50 times more likely do experience a shooting/another form of terrorism (can't quite remember) than an ISIS attack.
