I think it's fair to presume he won't.
I can't say I've seen this guy but Jose must see him as a future worldie, 35m for that level of player is brilliant in this market.
To think that most people didn't rate him at all when he was bought for Benfica's formation team. He used to play as a right-back, then was tested in midfield and afterwards center-back, where he stood. But for a long time almost no one imagine he could be helpful to Benfica, never mind United.
It's quite obvious why. He didn't need to make as many of those because the average squad age was higher.
He's 23 soon, a Sweden international and a regular for Benfica, he's not coming here to play for the U23s, he's coming to be a starter next season. I like the fact that we've gone for a ball playing defender, I do hope Mourinho doesn't try to remove that from his game (we did resort too often to the long ball against decent opposition last season and Mourinho even criticised the defenders for trying to pass it out and not punting it long enough when we played City).

He is planning to stay here for a while, he was planning to win a couple of trophies in 2-3 years and leave in the other jobs he had.

Ramsey fee agreed
United have agreed a fee with Cardiff City to bring talented teenager Aaron Ramsey to Old Trafford.
The 17-year-old left-sided midfielder has yet to agree personal terms and must also pass a medical before any deal can be completed.
A club spokesperson told ManUtd.com: "Manchester United is delighted to announce it has agreed terms with Cardiff City for the transfer of Aaron Ramsey subject to contract terms being agreed and the player passing a medical."
But the Reds aren't the only club in for the teenager. Cardiff have confirmed that "three top Premier League teams" have made bids, with two given permission to speak to the Wales starlet.
Ramsey, who has attracted plenty of interest from the best clubs in England, is considered one of his country's brightest prospects in recent years and follows in an impressive line of left-sided Welsh players, including Gareth Bale and his idol Ryan Giggs.
He earned rave reviews following his performance in Cardiff's 2-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Middlesbrough and played in their final defeat to Portsmouth at Wembley

Sell Jones and Smalling then sign Keane, I'm sure I read that Keane is the best aerial centre back in the league stats wise.
It's not obvious to me. Most squads in football aren't Ajax or Dortmund. The age of the Real Madrid squad he inherited was normal. It's hardly surprising it's older than ours because we have had a very young squad these last 2 years. My point is he had signings of varied ages at Inter as well. I dare say his signings at Chelsea both terms were hardly restricted to only "27-30yr olds". He's just like most other managers, signing a collection of players of differing ages. Just like LVG in his 2 years here, just like SAF did most of the time here.
