RAWK Goes Into Meltdown 2016-17 Edition

Obviously that rumour was quickly dealt with by Bayern but nevertheless, the delusion is strong. Lewa end of his peak years? what the feck! :wenger::lol:

Utd and Chelsea hold talks with Lewandowskis agent

SSN

--------------------

cool... as long as our rivals keep paying premium prices for attacking players reaching the end of their peak years the more chance we have of beating them

What do they think about the Tikka M. Salah buy?
Best player since Maradona, or something along those lines?

Well I mean he's not young...

He's at his peak now, 28yo. Depends how he does in his 30's. Can he push on and still be a top player at 31,32. 33 even? If so, yeah. He has many more years ahead.

He has at least 3-4 years left at the very top. No where near his end.

feck him, he came here for a shite and a shave and decided we werent good enough

Yeah, the feck was that all about?

Reckon he might have Stockholm syndrome, he thrives amongst the scousers by now.

Very clever.

Just had a quick look to see what they're saying about Mbappé and came across a little gem (I've added in the bold and asterisks):

"Makes me laugh that all of a sudden we have come across as being some small-time club in the eyes of some. We're still the 5-time European champions*, we're still managed by Jurgen Klopp. Yeah, City and Arsenal have won the league more recently**, but where's the European pedigree? If we weren't getting in to the conversation about players like Mbappe we'd forever be cast in the mindset of many as 'they were big once'. Madrid and Barca have ruined the modern game because of the superhuman talents of Ronaldo and Messi, and they draw players in to sign for them like flies on a light bulb***. But that pair won't be there forever. Both teams were distinctly average only a few years back when they were pumped home and away by us.****

Time to shake off the rust of the past few years, get back on our fecking perch. It starts with the likes of Mbappe. If we don't bid, we won't get them, and we'll be stuck staring longingly through the windows while clubs with shite pedigree like City continue to mop up the talent just because they've got a few quid.

Bollocks to anyone who thinks we're not big enough to land names like that*****. Go off and support that lot over the park, they enjoy a few doubters and pessimists in there."

* - You've mentioned that once or twice, unfortunately Real Madrid are 12 times champions.

** - Conveniently left out us, but included Arsenal, winning it in 03/04. Chelsea, Leicester, Blackburn have also won it since Liverpool

*** - Pretty sure that's not a saying. Flies around hot shit, yes, but not a light bulb. Moths maybe?

**** - No record of them pumping Barca home and away (i.e. leg 1 and 2). They did beat Real home and away in 2009, but a 1-0 away win for them can't be deemed as 'pumped'. Please note that they were 'pumped' home and away in the most recent meetings in 2014.

***** - Bollocks to me then.

What's the title of this years rawk thread?

Klopp asylum?
Wonder klopp?
"Clop" something, mos def. How quickly we forget  I'd vote for "RAWK Meltdown 2017 - Die Cloppen Tap-up und Dipper Blitzkrieg", personally

Whilst it's utter bollocks he's spewing, they beat Barça in 2006/07. Obviously pumped is a strong word but they did absolutely cane Madrid at home and I don't remember Barça ever really looking like they'd beat them back then either.

And forgetting Chelsea winning both the cl and Europa and us obviously, fecking fcuktards the lot of em.

Wumming ?

He is from Cantril Farm. My old council estate. It also goes by the names of Cannibal Farm and Cannabis Farm.

It's really nice. You should go sometime.

Barely Liverpool.

Though that's a compliment.

This thread's recent activity hasn't gone unnoticed

Ah we'll check on them after their Champions League qualifier to see if they can join the rest of the big boys.

I am having a right laugh reading their thread about us on RAWK.

Fair fecks to them, they are reasonably funny and witty, atleast compared to the cumstains over at Bluemoon.

Also it is very charming how they think making top 4 when they only had that to focus on suddenly makes them relevant again.

It's amazing that winning two proper trophies and gaining automatic qualification when they still have to qualify and won sweet feck all makes them think we're the shit ones. Newsflash rawk, your pile of shit and piss might be good enough to paper your walls but in our house it doesn't make it through the front gate you inbred cretins.

Yeah, a casual acquaintance of mine said the other night "Id much rather get top 4 than win a cup". So essentially, buying into the 'top 4 is a trophy in itself' shite while laughing at a club that won two trophies and despite finishing 6th, still got what they worked so hard for to finish 4th. Go figure.

It's cute ain't it. I love how they try to justify their making fun of winning 2 cup trophies by saying "well it would have been unsuccessful under Fergie".

Yeah... but what would it be considered under Klopp, Rodgers, Dalglish, etc.?

Deluded as feck is what they are, they belong in the loony bin.

Shithellins.

Everton fans kicking off at the move to Kirkby round the corner tells me everything I need to know about how scousers view that area.

Canny Farm aint Kirkby though . It aint Huyton either .

It's the Farm la' .

By the way .

The fact that someone from St ' Elens can give anybody on the planet stick about where they are from beggars belief.

Jose's first season.. Premier League - 6th.... Europa League Final - WON.... EFL Cup Final - WON... Seeded Pot.2 in Champs League Group Stage.

Klopp's first season.. Premier League - 8th.... Europa League Final - LOST.... EFL Cup Final - LOST... enough said. ;)
