He would have been a good option for us but I have the feeling we simply went for the better defender/player in Lindelöf.
Its Perisic all over again. We should be aiming higher. Also for around the same price Lindelof is definitely the better option with a bigger upside.

I agree, not the biggest fan of Perisic, they are better options out there.

Funny pic. :D

Hope Semedo is still on, as we need reinforcement at LB. I know we potentially have 4 players for the position (not even counting CBJ), but it seems to be a weak spot still. Still would be a shrewd move to get Sessegnon now and maybe loan him back out to Fulham, but I guess he'd rather have more control about where he actually plays & develops.

I'll be honest if we signed these 3 plus a DM i would have considered this summer as one of the best ever for us. These are exactly the type of guys we are missing - pace, trickery and penetration in attack. With Pogba, Herrera and Fabinho/Matic behind those 3 we'd have been unreal, shame

Christ, wasn't even aware he was at Boro. Wasn't he supposed to be the next big Danish thing?

He definitely was, but he's been hit hard with injuries the last couple of seasons. Something like 15 games for Boro, was never going to be enough to get his form back. Hopefully he'll get back on track at Mainz, the talent is there.

Ah, wasn't aware, cheers mate. Seems a good move, he'll surely get plenty of playtime there, injuries permitting that is.

Ah, the yearly 'Arsenal are linked with 3/4 quality players just before season tickets go in sale' charade.

Am I the only one, that have difficulties seeing Arsenal spending more than £100m in one window?
I do. Seems unreal!

Missing out on UCL seems to have made them (Wenger and the board) that they need to spend otherwise they'll be left further behind
