I wasn't, I was criticising the strategy of seemingly going after players like Matic and Perisic when there are much better options out there. Our business last summer was excellent, so I'm not sure why it's taken a backwards step even though we have CL this time, this was the summer we needed to push hard and fill our first XI with the quality it needed. I really hope we can do that but with the players mentioned it doesn't look like happening.

Rumours are most likely rubbish, but I wonder if we are in for another centre back. If so, it's means both, Jones and Smalling could be out, or maybe we're edging towards a back three.

Lacazette has always struck me as me as a bit of Higuian. Sure he will bang a few in for Arsenal but will he do it in the big games?
Lacazette is a good signing for Arsenal but doesn't really solve any of their long-standing problems, which is good news for us.

Given the prices being banded about for strikers this window, that for a striker who got 30+ goals last season is great business. Reckon he'll be a hit, huge upgrade on Giroud.

Some people go mental over all our competitors when they sign players. City, Chelsea, Arsenal, whoever. Too many posters lose their shit whenever our rivals sign someone, 'amazing signing.. can't believe we weren't in for him.. they are gonna be terrifying next season..' etc, as if they were expecting them to sign Titus Bramble.

Every fan base will be the same. "They're buying X wtf are we doing?!?!??!"...despite the fact a signing can be announced any second over the next 8 weeks. Incredible the way some fully grown men are during the transfer window.
Some people can't withstand the pressure of the transfer windows and reports going there and here. If I were them, I would stop following the market till all signings are done instead of insulting the club and manager on every rumor in unrealistic way.
