So Morata ended his honeymoon early to conclude a deal to United, only for United to turn to Lukaku? That's pretty harsh but I quite like United's secrecy here.
That was likely a fabrication all along.

Personally, I don't like it when players who evidently want to join get caught up in the crossfire. Similar happened with Herrera and the Three Amigos.
The thought of Madrid with egg on their faces is a temporary amusement, but I'd rather we finally got the guy.
Wasnt he shown on holiday just a few days ago?
Can't wait until Marca reports on how Perez has decided to conclude discussions on Morata's trasfer due to what he represents tothe club.
Maybe how Zidane has convinced Morata to stay.
Or Morata's love for Real meant he decided to stay.
My outside bet is Madrid have now decided its best that Mbappe stays at Monaco for one more season.
Its time for Spanish media bingo

Well no, I doubt he would. Why would he? Nothing wrong with what he said though, any player would say the same in his situation. It's not like he would choose us if he had a choice though. He came out and said he wants to stay at Madrid, he's pretty much being forced out the door through lack of game time.
Barça refused 35 million Manchester City by Sergi Roberto http://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbo...-oferta-de-35-millones-por-sergi-roberto.html … via @martinezferran
They tried flogging Morata to Chelsea last season and the board decided against it.
Chelsea simply do not spend silly money anymore.
Having problems negotiating with daniel levy? Hardly a surprize.
He's in the exact same situation as us never being involved though. It's not like the club don't want to sell, the players kicked up a fuss and then we've dropped it. That scenario I agree would be bad.Well no, I doubt he would. Why would he? Nothing wrong with what he said though, any player would say the same in his situation.
Walking away because the club is unreasonable is one thing, but suddenly another option being finalised when all along you are led to believe otherwise... Isn't there a longer term effect in players not wanting to overcommit or push for moves to us?
SAF always got that balance right. I can't remember a single saga where he would leave the player hung out to dry. Very much the opposite.
As said, I hope it all adds up to saving 5M and Real not taking the piss any more.
Kyle Walker is reportedly their other RB targetHow did Spurs enter into it?![]()
They won the league last season and he played really well.David Luiz..
Sportsmail reported on May 12 how United were using Everton's interest in Rooney to help them in their bid to sign Romelu Lukaku.
So 75 m plus rooney?
That's like a net cost of 30 m for Lukaku which is a bargain!![]()
Only Morata, Belotti and Aubameyang left for Chelsea to get. I hope it isn't Morata.
How did you draw up the calculation.
are you kidding?
Do we know that for sure? What do you think the narrative will sound like? He's in the exact same situation as us never being involved though. It's not like the club don't want to sell, the players kicked up a fuss and then we've dropped it. That scenario I agree would be bad.
This could be the move that undoes all the good work by Everton so far.I've an itch on my back there...you wouldnt mind giving it a....thanks
