of course the initial demand will be higher. Unlike in Morata's case, i think perez will be flexible on the price, so long as we make a profit
Didn't you sign him for €80m? You won't make a profit.

....already explained this. Look it up if you want, or don't. We'll make a profit so long as we sell for more than €45MDidn't you sign him for €80m? You won't make a profit.
This is the general consensus in the Spanish media. Because of the extremely good relations between PSG and Madrid they expect a deal to be reached and concluded easier and quicker.

He didn't fail to live up to his potential. He did very well his first two years. After that he wasn't the shiny new toy anymore. So he was cast aside. It will be more or less like Morata's case itself.
Why should ideally expect any profit. The player was bought on a inflated price itself, failed to lived up to the potential and hype and is a bench warmer. This should be a loss deal, expecting any profit is unrealistic.

Are we? Fellaini was playing there in the EL final.Seriously doubt we are in for this guy. Already stacked in the ten position.
Player potential is different from what a team pays for him.I am sorry but did he live up to his overinflated 80m euro potential?
Completely absurd statement.Player potential is different from what a team pays for him.
who is calling Morata a reject?
He was an integral part in us winning La Liga last season.
Don't think so. Morata is a player we'd rather keep, because he's an important player for us and replacing him would be difficult. James is a luxury fringe player, we already "replaced" him thanks to Isco and Asensio. We're actually interested in selling him, or at least we should beIt will be more or less like Morata's case itself.
Because he's still very much a world class player and a difference maker in the right team, and selling for a loss would be stupid. He's not on stupid wages, and even with all the new contracts and the signings of Vinicius, Ceballos and Theo, we shouldn't have any problem financially, at least for this season. Next season he'll be worth like €30M, we should be able to at least break evenWhy should ideally expect any profit. I still don't get how a transfer fee can be compared to player potential? It's not like he is a shit player. He still performed well.Completely absurd statement.
You took no loss on Di MariaHe was never an 80 million euro player in the first place. We took a 20 million loss on Di Maria Madrid should take a 40 million loss on James.
Fair point. That was due to our plan to hoof it and bypass their press. We will probably play a 433 most of the time anyway
You took no loss on Di Maria
Signed for €75M, 5 year deal, sold for €60M after a year. Break even. Unless it's different in pounds?
Yes, which is how it works. Financially, the club did not lose money on Di MariaHe's going with the angle that we paid off his wages for 1 year and basically sold him at the fee that amounted to his remaining wages.

No, that's how it works for the clubsThats a weird way to look at it

Yes we are, mkh lingard Mata pogba can all play there , and so will a second striker if bought. Are we? Fellaini was playing there in the EL final.

and Smalling can play as CF while Lukaku can be the GK!This has no logic at all

75m for James? It's quite clear that Madrid don't want to sell players. Clubs need to stop trying to buy players from them. It's a waste of time really. Work with clubs that are going to be serious about selling. I hope we're not going to waste time on this, let PSG knock themselves out.
Can all play there but only Mkhitaryan has played there for a decent amount of his games.Yes we are, mkh lingard Mata pogba can all play there , and so will a second striker if bought.
