I don't think anyone cares about De Gea and if you are asking yourself why Verratti would choose Raiola over Mendes, it's probably because he is the agent of Ibrahimovic and Maxwell who are close to Verratti.
I would have thought it's because Raiola is the man you turn to when you want to engineer an exit from your club. I reckon he'll get him to Barca for next summer.
